Perfect for bedtime routine. A sturdy book for little hands
I already knew what this book would be like. My son has had this book before. He loved it so much we read it and looked at it until it fell apart. We had it a couple of years so it did well. This is a sturdy book. Thick board pages that have a lovely sheen to them. There are little stories within the story as you read about Kanga and friends, trying to help Roo fall asleep. This is a beautiful book for bedtime routine. The font is playful in parts. It catches the eye of your little reader. My son recently was looking for this book, and I decided to buy another copy for us to read. He is over the moon to have another copy. I know we will make good use of it. Please don’t be put off by me saying our first fell apart. My son has autism and poor body awareness. He is very heavy handed and loves books so much he always reads them till they fall to pieces on him. This book is so worth having and I promise it’s a beautiful read

Really cute book!
This book is really cute, in my opinion, but I have a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh and friends. It's also made well (good quality binding). We've had it for several months and it's holding up really well to a rough toddler.I got this for my 2 1/2 year old who loves Winnie the Pooh. This is definitely a book that will be interesting to him for years because there is a lot of text for him to grow into. The story has short stories within it, as Roo's friends all tell him a bedtime story until Owl's story makes everyone fall asleep. Currently, I don't read all the actual words from the book because he has a short attention span. My son loves the pictures and loves to point at the familiar characters and their silly antics, so I tell my own version of the story to match the pictures. So, for example, when we get to the last page, where everyone is sleeping, he points to each character and I say "Pooh fell asleep, and piglet fell asleep ..." etc.
