A lot of memory in a small package.
I bought the SanDisk 1 GB card for my Kodak 5 megapixel camera. The 32 megs that come in the camera left me with a full memory, so I wanted more. It arrived quickly and installed easily. I'm amazed at how small a gig of memory is these days. My Kodak Dx7590 camera says that it has room for 632 pictures at the 5 megapixel maximum setting. At the 1.8 megapixel setting it says that I can shoot 1,554 pictures before running out of memory. Either of those is way more than I've had a chance to use before returning home and downloading them to my PC.I got the 1gb after comparing all the smaller ones. I did think about buying two or four smaller SD cards instead of the larger one. Now I'm glad to have the whole gig of memory instead of two or three smaller ones. I don't have to carry the extras cards and open the camera in rain or dust.I did some comparison shopping on e-bay and elsewhere and found that the Amazon price, including shipping, was equal or less and it wasn't from some vendor I've never heard of. If you have a camera or other product that takes the SD cards, the price is hard to beat and the convenience of a lot of memory is very nice. As the old computer pros say, "you can never have too much memory."

You may still need this
I still have cameras that work just fine, and require SD cards. This card is still in use 17 years later, and works with the Canon camera that I occasionally use whenI need zoomed stills for my work in media. This kind of SD card is durable, reusable, and easy to load to a computer with an adapter and a USBcord/port.You can also always depend on the SANDISK brand to be reliable.I would recommend for any need.

Love a bargain
I bought two of these last Thanksgiving to go with Digital cameras I bought for my children and they are very happy with them so that is why I ordered myself one. I'm taking children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to Disney World and I plan on taking a lot of pictures. I have a 256MB that works just fine but I know I want to take more pics than it will hold. Plus the price is right. The same brand at other stores is 2 to 3 times the price.SanDisk SDSDB-1024-A10 1 GB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package)

It's a memory card...
To me, reviewing a memory card is somewhat moot. You know it will get the job done; the question is how much memory you are going to need. I have used SanDisk memory cards for years and have been satisfied with their other SD offerings. I have yet to have a card fail, especially after constant writing/erasing in less than stellar conditions. My use of this card is in a digital camera and my TREO 650 and has thus far yielded stable results. I mean it's a memory card. I can only get so excited. The latest round of memory price drops have made this 1 GB card an attractive buy. I would not think of getting anything smaller in memory capacity. This is a good buy.

A good thing to have
It's good to have so much memory if you're going on a long road trip and don't have a computer or laptop near by. I put my camera's (canon A520) settings so that it takes pictures that are around 600-900 kb rather than 1-2 mb so I can take up to 1200 pictures. If you take videos with your camera, this is a good thing to have since videos can take up a lot of space. If you're not as lazy and are willing to always put your pictures into your computer after every use, you may want to get a smaller card but with the new cameras now a days, I wouldn't be surprised if the pictures are 3-4 mbs each. So you may want a bigger memory card. I got mine for around 24.95? There was a rebate on it. If you look you can make a good steal; I've seen them sold for 9.95.

Great for Digital cameras.
I use this SanDisk SDSDB-1024-A10 1 GB Secure Digital Card for my digital camera; I have a Canon A 620 Power Shot; which is 7.1 Mega pixels. I can store (shoot) 515 pictures of the highest quality, on the card. So far its excellent, no problems at all; speed seems good, Picture quality and reliability excellent. I have Video capability on the camera ,but I don't use it, I have a Mini DV camcorder I use for shooting Video. So I can't commit on video storage on the card. I have one other 1 Gig Card, from SanDisk-slighty higer quality, and with these two cards, its all I need for vacations, family pics etc.,

Good product, less than stellar seller
I received this just in the knick of time for vacation. I have 125 photos stored on it and counting. It seems to be working just fine!My problem is with the seller. I gave a somewhat negative review (3 out of 5 stars) in the seller's feedback section on Amazon due to the fact that the item arrived several days late. It was to arrive between June 14 - 17th, per Amazon's shipping confirmation info. I did not receive it until June 19th - hours before leaving for vacation. The seller did refund expedited shipping costs, but only after blaming UPS and Amazon, and after 1 1/2 hours of phone calls and emails. To top it off, after the seller saw my feedback, they called me and offered to give me $5 to remove the review. Excuse me - I'm not so greedy that I'll take down my honest opinion for the equivalent of 2 lattes!! Obviously I left my feedback up. I think it's ridiculous that they offer money to essentially bribe people to be dishonest about the service received.

Much Needed Card!
I purchased these for a friend who has an older camera that will not recognize a card over one GB. He wasn't ready to purchase a new camera so we looked at all the big box stores and online and couldn't find them. He uses his camera to record his finished tile jobs so he can print put pictures to add to his portfolio. Amazon is my Go To source for hard to find or unusual items and I wasn't disappointed! The cards perform perfectly as SanDisk cards always have in my experience. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
