This does a very good job of providing illumination in front of my monitor without putting glare on the monitor. The ability to change the light spectrum and intensity is very nice. The negative is the touch control for power. Sometimes the power touch works, sometimes it does not. I estimate that to turn the light off, I have to pull power 7 out of 10 times. It does power up with a touch about 8 out of 10 times. When it does not light, I just have to leave it alone for a period of time and it will start working. Overall it works well enough that I will continue to use it. However, I do not recommend the light overall.

I really loved this out of the box. Easy to install, good light output, easy to adjust. BUT....there is always a but right? Unfortunately, it would randomly turn itself off. This is not conducive when I am working. I liked it so much, I asked for a replacement of the same to try again....no luck. Unfortunately, have to return both.

I've been trying to find the right configuration for my home office since having to work entirely remotely for almost a year now. Getting the lighting right was the last and most difficult issue to satisfactory resolve until I ordered this computer monitor light by a company called Engilen, which I hadn't heard of before coming across this item. I immediately liked the sleek, low-profile narrow bar design when I saw it on-line. I hate those Cyclops-looking circular lights that stick straight up from a monitor like a poorly conceived jerry-rig (which is exactly what they are), and had put off getting better lighting for lack of an acceptable alternative. Until now. This straight, low-profile bar visually integrates with my and most existing monitors. Its angle is adjustable according to how the user wants to project the light. The rear arm that balances the light on the monitor is well-weighted, balanced, and adjustable to a wide variety of monitors, including the old, thick flat screen tv re-deployed as the office monitor in my home. This light is powered by a USB C connection which I run through a USB hub with no problem. There are several light shades to choose from accessible by simply clicking trough a small button next to the power button; the integration of these controls btw show that the manufacturers of this product put thought into its design elements. I'm glad I didn't settle for one of those Cyclops jerry-rigs before spotting this computer monitor lighting.
