My son has been doing boxing workouts for about a year. He started with the gloves you can get at any sporting goods store. We upgraded to these after those stated to tear on the inside. This glove is slightly heavier, which is good for training (not a match). The quality is so much better! They are more protective, comfortable, durable, and after several months of use no signs of tearing on the inside. These are more expensive but worth the additional money if are at least moderately serious (he works out 5 days per week). Suggests getting sanitizing workout wipes and a glove dryer to keep them clean.

Great gloves, require some breaking in so do your partners a favor and hit the bag for a bit to break them in. A little expensive but these are by far the most high quality gloves ive owned and they have great wrist support because its angles which you typically only see in laced gloves. Awesome, i would recommend it checks off everything for an exceptional glove.

Excellent gloves. If you are checking out gloves because you are thinking of taking up boxing, do it! Boxing is fun.

It took like a week to break in, these gloves helped with my wrist pain a lot.

So to say the least these are def. an amazing pair of gloves. I have been boxing for a while now and I can say there is def. a difference in quality between these and a 90 dollar pair of gloves you would buy. There should be given the price. Def. has really good wrist support and hand protection. I bought these as opposed to the bag glove version of these because the bag one had plastic pieces on it. These do really well on the bag as well. Didnt even need to wear hand wraps its that good - as long as you know how to properly throw a punch and hit the bag. The only thing I can say about these thats not so good is the fact that it is a tight fit. If you have large hands you may find it difficult to wear these or it may be a matter of breaking them in. I bought the 18oz for max protection. Plus I hit hard.

Love sparring and drilling with these gloves. I’ve got a pair of cleto reyes and hayabusa t3 and the rivals are my favorite.I can’t comment on the longevity but I would buy these again in a heartbeat. I don’t use these on the heavy bag and would probably rather use the hayabusas for the bag anyway.These gloves are snug. Not as snug as cleto Reyes but more snug than T3. And the thumb on these is in the traditional position which I really like. I actually look forward to putting these on every time there’s an opportunity. They’re very comfortable
