Lenovo Essential Full HD 1080P Webcam, Dual Microphone, No Driver 1.8m USB 2.0, Wide-Angle, Tilt-Control, 360-Degree Rotation, Black

I picked up this webcam for my clients desktop setup (over 20 units), and it’s a great basic option. It’s super easy to plug and play—no complicated setup needed. The privacy shutter is a standout feature; honestly, it should be standard on all webcams these days. Audio pickup is decent, though I still recommend using headphones for better sound quality. It mounts securely on top of the monitor and stays put unless adjusting the shutter, which can nudge it a bit. For the price, it’s a cost-effective choice if you just need something simple and reliable.

This webcam works just fine! So far I have only used it to play the game "Before Your Eyes" and some other gaming but it is easy to set up and it just works! Great price too!

Meh camera. The microphone is very weak and the angle is very wide. No way to adjust either. For 30 bucks it works, but wish I had moved up to the next level of quality.

Honestly one of the best webcams out there, the quality is so good it makes it look like 4k, amazing picture and video, worth the money.

When I received the camera and plugged it in initially, the quality was immaculate. The picture was bright, and the camera seemed to be in working order. I placed my hand to the camera, real close but not touching, the picture quality darkened and I have not been able to recover the quality from when I initially plugged it in. With a 75"x 89" window, my living room is very, very bright, however, the picture quality is very poor. I will do better research next time and see a webcam with auto-focus and auto-brightness features. This is unfortunate because the quality out of the box was more than ideal. Update: The camera is no longer reliable. Either it will shut off while plugged in, or when you unplug and replug, it does not turn on. I am so dissatisfied! Never again will I purchase webcams from Lenovo.

When Logitech failed to come out with a Win 11 driver for my high-end Logitech Webcam Pro I felt abandoned by them. Luckily at the same time I was still fuming over them basically abandoning their customers, I own multiple Logitech wired and wireless trackball products for many years, I received an email from Tom's Hardware recommending this Lenovo unit. At 66% less than anything around it with _equivalent_ specs and quality, I jumped on it here on Amazon and I am TOTALLY PLEASED. A bonus is that is also have a sliding panel on the face of it that covers the camera lens. The sound, video quality, and software are all first class. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The camera quality is super super good for the price I was surprised! I’ve had no issues with it at all, I’ve used it for my laptop and my fiancées laptop and it works for both!

The webcam is indeed Lenovo QHD webcam not the Lenovo 4K Pro, its false advertising.

Wide field, by comparison to ThinkPad built in unit and similar in quality, so better keep a neat office! Manual screen for privacy when not in use.
