I use this as per a recommended from my Dobermans Cardiologist and Internal Medicine specialist for maintenance of his DCM ( enlarged heart .) Many Veterinarian Cardiologists recommend the use of L Carnitine in dogs suffering from heart disease. My boy gets no GI upset from these . It seems to work well and I am able to pour the capsule into his food. He eats it up. I realize this is for humans, please refer to your DVM prior to any administration. However , I can say that if it is easier on his stomach then this may be easier on human stomachs as well. I order a ton of supplements from this company and seller for my dog. They always arrive in 1 day or two , packed nicely and if he has an issue with any of them they always return it. I love that they keep it natural and do not add all the extra harmful ingredients. If it is safe for my dog that must be a good sign.
