The drain cleaning kit is a very simple but very effective piece of kit and completed the task perfectly.

We suffer with regularly blocked drains as the run-off just isn’t steep enough to get good flow. I used to rod them. But they are big and clumsy and a pain to connect and disconnect each time. This hose easily attaches to the pressure washer, pulls itself along the pipes and then is easy to wind back in and stores away neatly. It’s also far more flexible than rods so you can get round much tighter corners.If you have a serious blockage, I think you’d still need rods as the water jet will only do so much. But for tissue build up or light, frequent blockages this thing is ideal.

I used this to give the inside of the chassis on my Defender TD5 a really good clean out before cavity waxing. I’d been hosing it down with low pressure and a standard jet wash but this really shifted some unseen areas of silt and grit and even a few rust flakes that weren’t caught before. The length allows it to reach the whole length of the chassis with ease (use the large access holes just in front of the rear crossmember and go forwards)I hope I never need to use it in anger on a blocked drain but it’s nice to have.

I had plans of feeding this through the P bend of my WC to unblock, but I was asking too much to go round the P of the toilet pan and then a right turn into the sewer. So I had to go a different way in. It was easy to feed into the sewer via the man hole, and the pressure was enough to make it propel itself into the sewer. However, after a short while, my pressure washer started to pulse on, then pulse off. I have no idea why as when I took the end off the pipe it came back on constantly, but as soon as I put the jet back on, it went back to pulsing, even though the jets look clear. In the end I used a different method to unblock the drain, as the length of this was not long enough to reach the blockage.

Well made easy to put together and use

It worked but it did take a long time, around 40 minutes so I almost gave up. It went in about 9m so it's good that it's self-propelled. Though a drain rod would've done the job much, much faster. Then again, still saves a lot of money over having to call professionals.

Todo bien perfecto atasco solucionado y no un atasco cualquiera de los gordos 8 metros de tubo asta lo topes empezé metiendo goma mientras con la otra mano en el gatillo de la pistola os recomiendo probar y me e ahorrado unos 150 euros recomiendo está compra gracias
