I am very pleased with these markers. I am always scrubbing the grout with bleach. I figured why keep doing this?? I can just paint it darker. It was very easy to do. It was a little tricky to get the paint out at first. The felt tip was wearing out before It was empty. I have a large kitchen and the 3 pens were just enough. I am going to order some more to touch up and have on hand. Super easy to apply. See my before & after photo's.

I’ve bought these several times over the years. Specifically the dark grey ones for my dark grey grout. Soap scum, bleach products, who knows what have lightened the grout over time. I use this to put a fresh coat of dark color on the grout before I have the tile guy reseal it. My only complaint is that they used to include one extra tip per pen and they don’t anymore. It’s really necessary because these tips get so beat up before the pen is empty. So the latest shipment was a bit disappointing. Wont stop me from buying since it’s the only product I’ve found that does this.

Grout pens works pretty well... when they work. Color is a nice dark charcoal, almost black. Pen does take a considerable amount of time and effort to get started, but works as described once it's going. Problem is, only 2 out of the 3 pens worked. One of the 3 was dried up and only a yellow transparent liquid would seep out. All three were used (or attempted use) on the same day. I actually cut open the defective pen and the black grout was dried up inside. I stirred in a rather large amount of rubbing alcohol in an attempt to reliquify the grout and had some measure of success in using a paint brush to apply the last pens worth. We'll see how that holds up. Bottom line: the pens mostly work, color was pleasing but don't count on all of them being useable.

I recently had my fireplace re-tiled, but after months of living with it, I decided the grout was lighter than I wanted. I came across this product, and I'm so glad I purchased it. The color was exactly what I was looking for. It's a dark charcoal color. Almost black, but not quite. So easy to use. I bought the pack of 3 thinking I'd need at least 2 to complete my fireplace since the tiles are relatively small, meaning more grout lines. But to my surprise, one pen did the whole fireplace. I didn't worry about spill over onto the tiles, instead I worked quickly and then wiped down the tiles with a wet paper towel. My whole project took about 20 minutes and it looks great! The photo I included shows the original grout on the right and the new, darker charcoal grout after using this pen on the left.

as I read in earlier reviews,the product idea is good but the pen and applicator get bad reviews from me.First of all getting the ink thru the pen takes more than 20 shakes as advertised ..i have gone beyond 70 shakes!!The applicator tip wears down so easily.I ended up unscrewing top of pen, dipping qtips into pen and completing job that way,defeating whole purpose of product.I bought 2 sets,first set dried up so that I thought it was empty,it wasn't until my second set arrived and I could not get ink with like 90 shakes, that i decided to unscrew one from first set and voila! full of ink! As you can see, I am totally displeased with product

I liked the overall product but one tube was bright gold & one tube appeared to be dried out. Very disappointed. I tried another brand and there didn’t seem to be this problem. Hard to find this color anywhere else tho.

I took a chance on the reviews with photos and it looked okay. Well..... nope. The color is BLACK. The application was easy with the pen, but the product is watery and the coverage was non existent. I have used other products on grout before and this was by far the worst and most disappointing.

Well read the instructions and follow them. All three pens I spent an hour trying to get them to work. The only thing I would give a 5 star is Amazon instant refund.
