Geepas Double Burner Infrared Cooker (GIC6131) – Very Limited Pot Size I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue is the actual usable cooking area. Although the cooker looks large and the glass top measures around 10 inches, the effective heating coil is only about 7 inches. This severely limits the size of pots and pans you can use. In a normal kitchen, most cookware is 8, 10, or 12 inches in diameter. With this cooker, anything larger than 7 inches does not heat properly or sit correctly on the surface. This makes it impractical for everyday cooking. If you plan to cook dishes that require larger pots, such as biriyani or family-sized meals, this cooker is not suitable. It may work only for very small pans or minimal cooking needs. Additionally, the top glass showed damage on first use, which raises concerns about durability and safety. Overall, the product looks bigger than it actually functions. Please be aware of the very small heating coil size before purchasing.

Amazing

We purchased this single burner on 6 May 2024 while on sale and since then we are using this almost daily till now and still working. It is powerful more safer to use than lpg burner. Highly recommended. Down side is you cannot unplug it until it cools down. And it is single burner. But price wise i guess this better.

I always liked Geepas products, and honestly love it, it's best for making a quick food if you are looking for great alternative of gas, used this, and remember once you finish with cooking do not turned off directly from main supply, let the surface cool down,from its cooling system then after 15 minutes you can turned off from main supply, follow the instructions and it will last you long.

If you are solo and need basic cooking, this one does the job. It's good quality, heats up well and fast. There is no timer, though. However, after two months of daily use, the heating part has started getting stained.
