I need to cut self adhesive vinyl floor tiles. Will this do the job?

The knife is pretty strong and robust so should be fine. I've used it for the same job myself. The only possible issue would be with the blades themselves. If you use the supplied blades you will go through them pretty quickly. It might be worth investing in a pack of Stanley or irwin blades if you have a lot of cutting to do.

This knife is definitely sturdy and extremely easy to change blade, which other brands can be awkward. I personally would say the Rbaysale is as good as a Stanley knife.

Can you buy spare blades for the Baysale SK5 utility knife?

Yes you can buy the blades on Amazon too-they are just the regular blade you buy for a Stanley knife,And I bought a pack of 50, absolutely love this knife,very solid and great grip, very well made and well worth the money.

How do I change the blades? My knife no longer folds down either

The 'button/cog looking' thing you push up to open the knife....when open pull that back and it releases the blade so you can slip it out. Where the blade retracts into there's a serrated piece of metal. Pushbit slightly to the left and you can carefully retract the knife into closed position.

Amazing quality and value

I dont often feel the need to write a review ...but...This is a quality knife.Bought as a carpet knife I am impressed by the build quality and design - allows steady cut witha firm grip on the body.Also is is good to handle and look at . Good heavy duty knife with spare blades

I would give this knife 5 stars except for the belt clip on the right side of it being in a position that after a lot of continual use causes a bit of discomfort to your finger. Yes I guess it could be removed but that’s not the point. Overall, I found the folding knife very compact, very sturdy and well made and certainly fit for purpose of cutting numerous carpet tiles. Included are spare blade of good quality and it’s been an excellent tool for me that I’m very happy with.

I found Mechanism difficult to open and close, I felt there was a risk of injury from blade when trying to fold to close. Won't be using. Replacement Blades useful, fitted my older blunted cutter.
