Selenium is one of the 7 supplements I take daily for my Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Healing a fatty liver is very slow going, I had an issue with Paracetamol and Lansoprazole, cutting out the former completely and changing the latter to Omeprazole helped a lot but my levels were still way too high and refusing to budge anymore. NAFLD isn't treated on the NHS, they only monitor it with regular blood tests and scans when necessary. I got a book from Amazon at the end of 2017 about how to heal a fatty liver, it recommended a specific supplement that is not available in this country so I have to take them all separately. I have been taking these 7 supplements since the beginning of 2018 every day ever since then. I don't actually feel any better but my bloodwork has improved massively since taking them and my doctor has told me that it is working so to carry on doing what I'm doing. These are small, tasteless, odourless and easy to swallow. With 180 in the tub they will last 6 months, I think these are really good value as Selenium is one of the more expensive supplements, even a multi vitamin with Selenium in it will cost more than one without, so I'm really happy to get this many for £6.12 at the time of writing and I'll definitely be getting these again at that price.

200mcg is the highest dose of selenium recommended. The price is very good for more than a year's supply.

Packaging is insane. The smallest tablets in the world in such an oversized bottle. Anyway, they’re fine. Selenium absolutely stinks though. Like so bad. But they’re fine.

While these ingredients are commonly employed in supplement manufacturing to ensure product consistency and efficiency, they are non-active components. For those prioritizing a truly "clean label" supplement regimen, the presence of such fillers is undesirable, and a valid concern exists regarding their potential for accumulation over time from widespread use across various supplements.
