Love these skates!!
Super comfortable and easy to use for beginners. I’ve had them for almost 2 months now and use them at least 2x per week. They were a little tight on the sides of the toes at first, but have since formed to my feet and adjusting the laces near the toes helped (so it wasn’t as tight).True to size. I wear a size 11 and the 11 skates have a tiny bit of room at the front of the toes, but fit great. I don’t use the hooks that go up the sides of the ankle, so my ankles can move a bit more - but still feel very supported. All around great skates for a beginner without having to spend too much. I love that they have fun colors. Chose the white ones because they looked like the pair I owned when I was 8 years old :)

Girlies with big feet want pretty skates too
They are amazing. I vote for more pretty skates for girlies with large feet.

Very good roller skates
These roller skates are amazing! My wife loves the pink color, it's absolutely gorgeous and the design with the pattern makes them stand out. They’re not only stylish but also very comfortable and smooth to ride.

Best Purchase Ever!
I skated up until I was in my late teens and decided to give it another whirl some 30 years later. After doing a lot of research, I went with the Impala's and have had no regrets whatsoever. I noticed that there were less expensive skates out there, but do yourself a favor and stay away from those imitation knock-offs with the unrecognizable names. These are beautiful skates and break in really nicely. Ideal for a beginner or for the more advanced skater. I love them so much that I just bought myself a second pair in a different pattern/color. If you're searching for skates that are 'middle of the road' cost-wise with excellent performance, these are definitely the skates for you!

Great if you're trying to decide if you wanna take up skating as a regular hobby
It's been 20 years since I was last on skates and I wasn't fully sure if I wanted to do this regularly. I knew good skates would start at the $150 mark, so I went for impalas because they straddled the "not too expensive but also not too sketchy line."Size: I'm a true-to-size 7.5 in women's shoes. The ball of my door runs wider but my heels and ankles are narrow, making most wide fit shoes too big for the rest of my foot. I got a size 8 and it was perfect. They are snug, end just above my toes, but don't crush anything.Boot: this boot would be best with someone with more of an average/narrow foot. While I *can* use them for hours with my wide ball, the boot is just narrow enough for me to wish I had something more comfortable. It starts to feel squeezed in not a great way and I wish I had inserts to make the foot bed more comfortable. The boot is pretty stiff and provides a lot of ankle support. That said, it's so stiff that maneuvering is limited. Ive found that I no longer lace it up all the way. I'll lace it to the first set of hooks and leave the rest undone so I have the flexibility to bend when crouching or making turns. I've only used these for....10 hrs of skating so far so I can't say whether or not the boot will break in in a satisfactory manner just yet.Wheels and trucks: the factory setting for the wheels and trucks were TIGHT. Made it harder for the wheels to roll as well as they should and the trucks were so tight that turns were harder. This is totally fixable. Watch a YouTube video and learn how to loosen them in a safe way. After loosening things, skating is easier. This isn't unusual though. Some companies just ratchet things tight and if you skate for any period of time with any brand you're gonna want to adjust things to your preference.Laces: these bad boys do NOT come loose when skating. I tie them, skate for a couple hrs, and they're still tight AF when I'm doneWould I get them again or recommend them to a beginner: Listen, I've heard all about the production quality of these skates and heard about the boot separating. That sucks. Hard. I haven't experienced that myself and hope I never do. But I went in with my eyes wide open. I KNOW this isn't the best skate. But I wasn't looking for the best beginner skate. I was looking to tip toe into a hobby instead of investing big for skates that collect dust. They served their purpose. I'm fully invested and after a few weeks I'm now looking to upgrade to something that fits my foot better, is suited for the kind of skating I want to do (indoor casual skating and fun dancing at the rink), and will hold up for a couple years at least. I also didn't want to use these for so long that I do become another Impala statistic and have the boot separate and make me fall when skating. I'm leaning towards the Chaya Melrose or Sure Grip Boardwalks at the moment as my Impala replacement. In conclusion, these are fine for short term beginner use. And maybe you'll be one of the people who never have to worry about anything falling apart. But I would say this is better suited for people who are trying to learn from the beginning, or have skated before and need to get their legs back under them, or for people who are just trying to figure out if they want this as a hobby or not. This isn't a long term product. And that's fine. Again, I'd rather spend $70 or whatever on "just ok" skates than $200 on an abandoned hobby. Also, now I have backup skates.

Best Skate Purchase Ive Ever Made!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I read so many reviews before making my first skate purchase and these were a no brainer. Sizing is perfect. They fit so comfortably i was surprised. The design is everything, ive only gone out skating with them 2 times now and have gotten sooooo many compliments. I skated for 4 hrs today and the wheels havent budged as far as tred goes, which is nice because some wear out quickly. Im so happy to have made this purchase. They ride so nicely. I feel like im flying when im skating in these. Will definitely be repurchasing in another design as soon as i can! Best purchase ever!

Skater Queen Approves
No one has cooler skates than me in my town. These impalas have kept me rolling for two years and counting. Good for indoor and smooth outdoor skating.

ever see a 40 year old middle age woman roller skate?
I never went roller skating as a kid and although I took my children occasionally when they were younger, the last time I went I fell over and took some of the kids with me, leaving an impressive roller skate bruise in my back. Fast forward to me leveling up to 42, being in a pandemic, and watching roller skating videos on instagram and here I am, buying my first pair. They came beautifully wrapped and as I tore into the package I got a little overwhelmed. Determined to get over it, I strapped my feet in, ready to roll. I also sent all my kids to the families house so I had to witnesses to what I am positive would be one of the most mortifying experiences of my life.I didn't fall once. granted there are plenty of walls, tables and couches to crash into in my home, I am very proud it took me 3 days before my first tumble. The skates are amazingly well build, sturdy, and a beautiful color. I did manage to scuff them already, but that is the cost of the learning curve. It has been 1 month and while I am still not ready to hit the concrete, I do pretty well getting around my house. In the morning as I move from my bed to my work office I strap on the skates and use them to get around the house all day for practice.I would recommend these skates to anyone, of any age. I did buy a size up, FYI and my daughters uses them too (waiting for a color she likes to come back in stock).
