I went to a professional and he sent me away, i didn't need his install it was easy to do DIY
I am no expert of installing Car Audio, but I bought a Nice little car android with touch screen and the installation was not that clear, so It wasn't just a plug and play in by Fiat Abarth 500 with the beats Subwoofer, however I managed to connect my speakers direct without the beats amplifier and the sound was crap, however I got on this amplifier and bought it with the expectants to be able to improve the sound and use my Sub woofer. And it worked perfect. i used the high in not the phono plugs and it just worked great. Yes I did see some one saying on the reviews that it does get hot, but as long as you give some some ventilation it is OK. It is running all my 4 speakers and my OEM factory subwoofer. Instructions simple to follow. All I would add is if you detail what is in the box, you would have saved me $20 from not buying the two 4 pin plugs for the high input. These do come in the package.

How to make a stereo for 500$ that sounds better than beats by DRE
This amp .(cheap) 2 pioneer 8" MIDBASS speakers in backseat (mid price ranged ) 2 mid price ranged component speakers front door . All four speakers powered by this amp. Music sounds larger than freaking life. So loud you can lose your hearing . . . Also no distortion whatsoever. I just recommend buying this amp . Butbif you do . With the money you save . Spend it on better speakers . You can go cheaper with amplifiers . But not with speakers . Use the setup I have mentioned above . Out a single 8" 10" or 12" in the back With a mononamp of about 1500 or 2000 watts as well . And you'll have a sound system for 500 dollars , that I'll out against a 4000$ system any local audio shop charges. If you hear my advice . (In the past I was a sucker buying brand name amp everything) There's no need . They put out power .it's your speakers that make it sound good or not. And remember if you listen to radio Total harmonic distortion andnaol that B.S expensive Amps brag about DOES NOT MATTER! Your music input mp3's are not studio quality . Or high definition. Your FM radio is not DVD or CD quality. Your spliting hairs buying a 700 dollar 4 channel amp . This does just fine. It puts massive power to speakers . Quite surprised how well it works actually . I went from a 2000watt more expensive amp down to this 1000 watt more simple amp . And I like this sound better Your welcome . And sytem planning is KEY. Mine is . Two Nice components up front for highs . (Don't cheap out) but don't get most expensive either . Two Pioneer 8" MIDBASS in the backseat . They make a 6 and a 1/2 as well . Their Amazing neither this amp . I bridged those . And in trunk a single 12" with a 2000 watt mono amp . (Once again , didn't buy an expensive mono amp . No need Just needed to put alot of electricity through a wire . Not bake me dinner ) And the stereo for roughly 500$ sounds like A 4000$ stereo a local car audio shop would charge you for . Unebelivably crisp at all volumes low and high. no crackling at high volumes . It goes as loud as your ear can physically stand and more all while being clear . Inr commend the setup mentioned above. I planned it to be a cheap stereo that sound like it cost ten times more Better than any new stock radio in a Jew infinity of Lexus . Better than Bose steroes in new cars . Or beats by DRE systems. Enjoy !

Affordable, you get what you buy.
East to install, most of the information you need is provided in the pamflet you get. As a beginner who has not installed an amplifier before it took me and a friend about 6 hours from start to finish. With common tools, and a crimper which I would not consider a common tool. I took the power from a positive battery terminal, the ground from under the seat, the REM was easy to find as the previous owner had left a cut off tail and I spliced into that. I only plugged in the RCA since I am do not know enough about the HI in cables. Some of the things I'd recommend buying at shown in the pages of things other people have purchased, a decent set of crimpers isn't needed but would make your handwork look alot nicer. A power delivery kit that included a power cable, a ground, as well as a REM cable and the quality was as expected. I also purchased 50ft of speaker wire which was too much for my application.

Works amazing
Ok I bought this about a year ago or so and I haven’t had any problems with it I’m currently running 4 door speakers and 2 6x9s at full capacity at all times and never had a issue with protection mode or anything like that definitely recommend

Didn't even last two days!
Wired it up just fine, sounded great for the first day it was active. The following day we went to go grocery shopping, came back to the car, started it up and the speakers made a horrible screeching noise. After that the audio quality became horrible and after we got home now it stays in protect mode. Gain set correctly, 8ga power wire, sufficiently cleaned and sanded down verified ground, still wont come out of protect mode. Switched out with a known good amp and that one works fine. This crunch amp definitely burned something up as it smells bad near the controls. Pretty disappointed. Was able to get a refund through Amazon Customer Service.
