SSD bowed when installed
This adapter has the connection too close to the PCB, with no offset to accommodate the thickness of the SSD. This results in bowing, and potentially damage, to your drive. Also it was shipped haphazardly in a zip-lock bag. Would not recommend

Took some time but made it work.
Unfortunately, my mac wouldn’t read my SSD with this adapter. The 2242 size SSD fits into it almost bows a little bit which in turn may make your connection spotty; make sure you have the mount ring for this guy not tightened all the way or else you’re SSD adapter will bow like crazy. Regardless, after a dreadful Sunday evening my MacBook went from 256gb to 1TB thanks to this guy. So if you have issues, make sure you check the position of SSD in adapter! Thanks guys.

No detecta el ssd nuevo, y luego de la instalación el MacBook no lee el ssd original, no recomiendo este producto

Yeah I like to use a different brand of ssd instead of Apples junk they use. My customer had this computer for about 2 years and it's a pro model.
