used for lifeguard. good sturdy and good for your teeth with the rubber mouth place. very loud and easy to use without loosing your breath. works well in and with water in it. would 100% recommend and but agian if needed. very good quality for ten dollars too.

Ok so i bought this whistle for my wife who is a PE Teacher and needless to say it works amazingly. This little guy is LOUD so be careful if you ever open it up all the way you might have to wear earplugs yourself!!!! Great product but the only recommendation is that the metal on the lanyard needs to be more sturdy (go with a thicker gage metal.) I would recommend it for coaches!!!

I have used a regular fox 40 for 6 years while lifeguarding. I never knew just how uncomfortable that whistle is until I bought the cmg sonil blast. Now my whistle stays in my mouth all day and I dont even notice it and Its actually fun and comfy to chew on not just a mindless self indulgence. The sonik Blast is also louder and can be heard from further distances because of the 2 hole split system, It carries a much more shrill tone that gets peoples attention and stops them in their tracks. If you have to carry your whistle in your mouth for extended periods of time or you need it to get the attention of others (be it for lifeguarding, directing traffic or as a safety whistle for hiking and what not) this is the whistle for you

It’s nice but not enough sound. My dog doesn’t even stop when I use it. But kids love them.

I'm disabled. Standing and walking are not my strong suit. My cats have plenty of appropriate things to sharpen their claws on. They want to sharpen their claws on inappropriate things. When I yell at them they just look at me and say "make me". They know my vocal threats are hollow. This whistle gives me power again. The cats are hilarious when I blow this whistle. First they have a heart attack, then a stroke, then another heart attack all while scrambling to find some place to go. I wonder how long it will take for them to no longer respond to the whistle? In the meantime I'm happy and entertained.

This is a great whistle, but they sent me a gray one instead of the purple one I ordered. I'm not sending it back.

I work as a crossing guard assistant for 5th grade and some of the kids are stationed over a block away. This whistle is how I let them know its time to return to the school. It's loud and easily heard in a single blast. Word of advice: the whistle is SO loud that I have to cover my own ears or it rings mine, so wear hearing protection if you have issues with loud noise. .
