Grand daughter has the mini micro version for the last 3 years which is still brilliant and very smooth. In fact, this has been the best thing I’ve ever bought her in terms of how much use she’s had out of it. Bought the bigger foldable version now on the basis of the brands reliability since she’s grown. Not opened yet as it’s a Christmas gift. I’m sure it will perform as good as her current version and she will be happy with it. Opted for the foldable one for easier transportation. She will be thrilled to get the more “grown up one” in a snazzy colour and will be able to use it more for school runs too. Got it for a good price during Black Friday. Based on the micro one I expect this version to be as equally sturdy and functional for a few years to come. Highly recommend the quality and smoothness of these scooters.

Bought this for my 5yr old for Christmas after having cheaper scooters that she never got on with. Really easy set up (hardly any) and can be used easily straight away.

This was a much loved gift, the quality of the materials was remarkable. It took less effort to glide across and I feel that this will last quite some time. It does ooze quality and dare I say it you get what you pay for with this. I’d definitely recommend

Her new school is a good 20 mins walk and now that we have this new scooter (she grew out of her micro mini), we get to school on time and without complaints about the long walk - life saver! It’s very sturdy and she learned how to turn / maneuver it pretty quickly. Recommend also purchasing the micro gloves that attach to the handle bars - We live in London and in rainy/windy weather, they hold up really well. She loves them and they keep her hands warm!

These are brilliant scooters: they're sturdy, smooth, don't make an annoying noise (important when half your family is autistic), don't fall over, fold up easily to hang on the back of a buggy, and come with a great range of colours and accessories. However, we have found the back wheels are prone to seizing up and no longer turning. This seems to happen every 18 months or so (our scooters get heavy use on the school run). Replacement parts are readily available, but the allen bolt that holds the wheel on strips really easily, and has to be drilled out and replaced together with the axle. I've deducted one star for this because when a company prides itself on its planet-friendly, easy-to-repair products, a bolt really should be able to withstand being unscrewed once or twice.
