Q: Did anyone try putting car keys in box, close the box and bring near your car to test if the car unlocks or not?

Yes I did bring the box into the car and tried to start it. The car did not know the key was in there. Works great

I'm not sure of the actually measurements, but I'm able to fit three sets of car key rings that include car key and several other keys in the box.

Yes, I tested it the first day I received it from Amazon. The box works. I opened the car door first. Sat in the car with the key in the box and the key was not detected, my car didn't start until I opened the box and removed the key.

Q: Have the box, but cannot determine if it operates. Since the box needs to be fully closed with the key fob inside, how is it able to be tested?

If your car has the ability to sense the keyfob on you, keep the box in your hands and try to open the door. If it doesn't have that ability, An easier way to test it is put your cellphone in it and either call it or have someone call it. If it doesn't ring, it works.
