Like the line Indiana Jones says in Raiders of the Lost Ark,”It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.” And after 55 very active years incorporating a lot of wear and tear, I’ve put a lot of mileage on my knees. Pro tip: don’t let a large breed, strong dog pull you on leash when you’re walking it downhill. The steeper the slope, the more damage you’ll do to your knees. Learn to walk such dogs properly, using tactical leashes, collars and harnesses such as they use in the military and police K9. Anyway, years of that type malfeasance are just part of my knees’ mileage. I’ve used several Bauerfeind knee supports starting about 9 years ago. These Genutrains I like best. They’re medical grade and can be worn literally all day. They’re so comfortable and provide great support no matter what you’re doing, for both preventative and inflammation amelioration purposes. I like them better than the Bauerfeind sport performance knee supports as those have strips on the upper insides to help keep the supports in place. But in my opinion, because of those, they’re not meant to be worn for more than the duration of a typical sports game as wearing them for too long gave me blisters where those strips are. No such problem with the Genutrains and they stay in place, seamlessly, all day, throughout different sometimes very demanding activities. Absolutely love them. I think they’re great value as in the past I tried other brands and was always dissatisfied.

After doing a lot of research, I chose this brace to stabilize my knee after a volleyball-related meniscus tear and subsequent surgery, and it has been outstanding. It fits very securely and provides excellent stability, yet it is comfortable once on. When my orthopedist saw it, he actually complimented my choice. I now use it post-surgery and during volleyball, and it keeps my knee stable even with aggressive play and frequent dives. I wear a knee pad over it, which works perfectly. When the meniscus tear was fresh, I also wore it just to get around, and the added stability was immediately noticeable. It does take some effort to pull on, but it is extremely durable and has small hidden grab points that make it easier to get in place. This is a serious, well-designed product that does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I’m wishing I had bought this 10 years ago! I use it for working out and keeping my arthritic knee in check, works like a charm. Also it’s a really well made product that fits perfect.

Well worth the money. I’ve tried so many knee braces and compression and this one is awesome. Works but not bulky. To help it stay in place all day I used a patella tendon strap just below the knee pad and it makes it not move and adds even more support to the knee. Very comfortable.

I’ve been using the Bauerfeind GenuTrain knee brace for a few months now, and overall, I’m very impressed. Considering the premium materials and medical-grade support, I actually think the price is fair. It’s an investment, but one that pays off in comfort and function, especially if you’re dealing with chronic knee issues or recovering from an injury. That said, the only drawback I’ve experienced is that it does slip down occasionally, especially during more active movement. For a brace in this price range, I would love to see Bauerfeind come up with a better anti-slip solution—maybe silicone grips or adjustable straps. Still, despite that one issue, I’d absolutely recommend it. It’s one of the best braces I’ve used, and I feel much more confident and supported when I have it on. With a small design tweak, it would be perfect.

The knee brace fit my knee very well. It provides good support to my knee when I do sports, which is very helpful product

The most comfortable, most supportive and best healing knee brace I've used. The fact that the material is knitted and breathable compared to most designs means your knee doesn't sweat like crazy underneath. Also, when I had to kneel down the way it has that circle pad around your kneecap really made a huge difference in stability and comfort. I've been wearing it all day and taking it off in the evening when I get home an hour or two before I go to bed. After 2 days, along with my physical therapy, I'm seeing a huge improvement. This is a very high quality product. The most important thing I'll say though is that you really need to measure correctly before ordering. I also went to the manufacturer website and read everything on there before ordering to get all the help I could and read the FAQs there. Use a flexible measuring tape and follow the instructions exactly to get the right size. If you are between sizes, the FAQs on the website address whether to size up or size down depending on your preferences.

I don't leave reviews but I felt I had to on this one. I am amazed!! I work in a career field normally held by men. I have worked my job 33 yrs. A labor job that has beat me up. Surgeries on shoulders, broken arm, broken foot one knee and then the good knee started swelling, sticking, couldn't straighten or bend it. Dr told me it was time to replace it now also. I need to put it off for a few months but the pain I have been experiencing is unbearable and keeping me from working safely. I hoped this brace would help and it certainly has. Thank you for the immediate relief of pain and swelling. I should be able to stretch the replacement surgery out for a few months now. The surgery is not fun. So I recommend this brace to anyone experiencing the same things I have

BAUERFEIND GenuTrain Genouillère Noir + Bon maintien grâce à l'insert rotulien +/- Le tricot élastique mériterait d'être plus fin ou évidé au niveau du creux poplité pour ne pas gêner la pliure du genou. - La genouillère monte à mi cuisse, ça participe au maintien mais c'est très envahissant. - Difficile de trouver la bonne taille, car la genouillère montant haut sur la cuisse, il faut concilier tour de genou/tour de cuisse/et tour de mollet. • J'ai cherché une version plus courte de ce concept de genouillère avec insert rotulien et aileron méniscal mais BAUERFEIND ne semble pas en proposer, dommage !
