Aphogee Two-step Treatment Protein for Damaged Hair, 16 oz

Nothing compares to Aphogee 2-Step. This is just the best. I've been using this treatment since around 2008 or 2009. If you do any chemical treatments on your hair, this protein treatment will make it like new. It's really amazing. It almost completely reverses bleach damage to my curls. I bleach, do this treatment, do a semi-perm color, and then use Step 2 (the moisturizer.) This prevents my color from fading easily, it lasts months and months. It works better if you have a hood dryer, but before I had a hood dryer, I would just let it air dry and leave it on for a few hours. It was still helpful. Now I dry it under the dryer, let it cool down, and rinse. Perfection.

I haven’t used this yet because I have very thin hair, and after purchasing it, I learned that too much protein can actually cause breakage if left on too long. This product is definitely for people who know their hair’s protein/moisture balance. I can’t give a positive or negative review on the results since I didn’t try it, but I wanted to share that it’s a protein treatment, so make sure it’s the right fit for your hair type before using. The bottle is a great size and seems like good value for those who need protein treatments.

This is my third order of this product and I am a loyal customer. It does exactly what it says. It will. My hair feels soft, less flyways, and it’s the perfect thing to add to your pre-die moisturizing regime.

If you bleach your hair, color it, or you think it’s fried beyond repair - get this!!! Follow the instructions to the T and watch some TikTok videos on tips to use it. I bleached my whole head of dark brown hair and then used this a few weeks later. Totally restored my hair and brought it back to life. No more straw and gummy feeling hair that constantly knitted up especially when wet. This is a game changer I promise!
