It’s a really great looking phone, beautifully made and it works perfectly. I’m very happy I bought it.

This is a beautiful telephone in the style of the 1920's era; far superior than versions I have seen from other manufacturers. The 'phone includes a working rotary dial (not buttons) including the modern #*and redial functions meaning that this item is fully compliant with modern telephone technology. The telephone also has working bells rather than the chirruping sound of some modern versions by other manufacturers; meaning that the telephone sounds as good as it looks. The only fault I can find with this gorgeous item is that the earphone cord may be a little too short for my taste (However, this could be replaced if needed as both ends of the cord are fixed with telephone connector jacks).

The phone feels reasonably solid and the sound quality is like that of a modern phone. Only the dial feels a bit flimsy. It works, but mine can sometimes stick as it rotates. It's okay for around £100 and looks nice. The bell isn't bad either - not too loud but definitely bell like. I've been inspired to repace this phone with a reconditioned 150 GPO phone and bell box, however that is going to cost me £650. It's going to be brilliant quality and the dial with be a proper one, but few people will be prepared to pay that much, so be happy with this one. It's good value for the price. BTW the bell can be silenced with a switch in the base.

good quality, real wood and metal

Straightforward to setup - cable from the earpiece to the base and the telephone line also to the base. Thats it! They could have made the cable from the ear piece to the base old style as well didnt bother. So underneath the base there is a switch for ringer on and ringer off - this is the crazy part. If you do a test call from your mobile to your landline with the ringer off, your mobile will keep ringing until its answered. If you switch the ringer on, note the ringer volume is so feeble and low its like when an electrical device runs on batteries and is about to die, that's how weak it sounds. The phone will twinkle (cant even call that sound an actual ring) twice only and then you are disconnected whilst dialling it - really weird. Tried several times and after the 2nd twinkle it just disconnects the call. Looks are OK but very light, as you dial the rotary numbers the whole phone wobbles - just either faulty overall or I got a bad device

This telephone is beautifully made and looks fabulous. I also received a message from the company offering help if needed, which was a lovely touch but not needed as this telephone is so easy to set up just plug in and use and the ring tone is great!

We have antique furniture, my great grand-mother bedroom set 1905. The color of wood is near the color of our set. I was happy that the cords are a bronzich color and not black plastic. the ringer at low L means off and that is great for us since it's in the bedroom, we hear the other phones in the house anyway. We also bougth it for when there is no electricity. It has a nice ring. The only thing and it has nothing to do with the phone I had to pay customs (35.00$ cnd).

Que dire de ce SPLENDIDE TÉLÉPHONE RÉTRO. De très très bonne qualité, il ne fait pas du tout plastique, bien au contraire. En bois véritable. Certes, cela a un coût, mais croyez-moi, il en vaut le détour et surtout, il embellit votre intérieur par son design, sa qualité. Fermez les yeux et écoutez la sonnerie. Ça rappelle l'époque de mes grands-parents. Disposez-le sur un meuble d'époque en formica ou une desserte avec une déco moderne autour, croyez-moi, cela embellira votre intérieur et mettra en évidence votre sublime téléphone.

Classic and functional

Es muy bonito, es macizo y pesa. Funciona correctamente y un sonido muy limpio. Mis hijas están encantadas y han aprendido a marcar como antiguamente. Es una maravilla y llegó en un día!!! Ha sido un regalo de aniversario.

Dieses Telefon war auf den ersten Blick und auf den letzten Blick ein super tolles Teil- Es sieht nicht nur cook aus, es funktioniert auch dementsprechend gut. Toller Klingelton, gute Kommunikation und die Verarbeitung ist super schönes wertiges Holz und der Rest in Messing verarbeitet einfach nur schön, freue mich immer wieder dran-toller Kauf!
