Perfect Replacement Sash for Andersen Windows, Install Less than 5 Minutes
The sash fit perfect and was a direct replacement for my 25 year old Andersen single hung window that had a broken sash. The sash fit perfectly and was easy to install, less than 5 minutes. FYI, Andersen Windows has a proprietary design on this sash so it's not available from any of the big box stores but Good ole' Amazon had it in stock and the price was 40% lower than ordering direct from the manufacturer. My only comment is that's it's all plastic instead of metal, thus I will reconsider buying Andersen windows in the future.

Fit Perfectly
I wasn't sure at first whether it would fit or not, but decided to try it. Once I received it, definitely easy to put on but as others had mentioned it is plastic. But the one it replaced was plastic also. Works just fine and serves its' purpose, just have to be careful. Price was a little high, but needed it to secure window. But glad Amazon had it.

The Anderson name is expensive.
It's an exact replacement for a broken latch on an Anderson window and works fine. At 3x the cost of a generic latch it is ridiculously expensive but you're buying the name.

Exact fit!
As per other reviews, these are on the expensive side for plastic construction, but they are the exact Andersen replacements that I needed. Maybe if you subtract all my wasted time at the big box stores trying to find an after market product that would work (which I could not find), the price would not be that much of a concern after all.

Great replacement
Somehow my wife broke the original lock on our kid's double hung window. I checked the local big box stores and found something I thought would work, but things never lined up correctly. After a little research I found out the part has been the same since 1968. I checked Amazon and there it was. I purchased and it was an identical replacement. Install was quick and now the window latches like it should.
