Nice quality mixer valve, easy for me, a DIY'r to install.
Easy to install in my bath vanity floor. This anti-scald (mixer) valve for controlling hot water temperature at my Roman tub replaces a 2007 year mixer valve. Read the directions carefully; to adjust the temperature, unscrew the Allen-head screw in the tan handle a bit (no need to remove) and then pull the handle back and turn. The handle cannot be turned with the Allen-head screw tight, and there was no need to completely remove the screw.Build quality:High quality part, greatly improved for long-term reliability, & ability to adjust the temperature at the tub. Old part replaced, from 2007.

Easy to install if you have the same valve installed already.
My house was not getting hot water from my gas water heater and my hot water line was hot, so i knew it was not my water heater. After the mixing valve the water line was cool to the touch. So I replaced my old 10 year mixing valve with the same one which took me 30 minutes to change out and happy to report that there is hot water again.

Missing parts
See photo for what I received. No union, filters or gasket. Buy somewhere else. Would be easy to install if all the parts were in the box.

Two have failed, i'm done with this garbage
The first one of these failed, the internals are plastic, or at least the cap holding all the insides in place is. Guess what happened to that? A nice steady drip after getting it all installed. Got another one and it acts funny. Temperature drops 5 minutes into a shower, almost like something is bound up on the inside. Now it just seems stuck, won't heat up at all. This one has lasted a little over a year, 150 degree tank input gets turned into maybe 104 degree water on FULL HOT when it used to get to 120. Going with another brand.

it works
It seems to work as a thermostat despite what others have written. When I increase or decrease the temperature setting of the water heater, the output from this device remains the same temp, which is great! It means you can turn down your tank temp to save energy (as long as it's hot enough for your appliances) or turn it up if you need more hot water

Worked as hoped
Used this to mix hot & cold water in my house to feed a single water line going out to the horse barn. Works great, horses have warm water during the winter.
