Great!!
Great set, great quality! Can not fault one bit, lots of fun building and learning for children. Looks really well when all put together as well.

Rocket man
Now this is rather interesting. It's like Lego (of a sort) but with wires. As an exercise in circuitry, it works, as you have to build the items in order to connect them to the batteries to make it light up. At the special needs school the boss works at, this has gone down very well, as it's very self fulfilling for them to accomplish something like this. I have two issues with this. It's rather expensive, but is that expense alleviated by the pleasure the user gets? And, as always, there are no batteries included. Why, when anything electrical must have a plug attached, do they not include some cheap batteries to get things going?

Liked partly
It is quite large, when assembled. And my child only plays with some parts of it. Fair enough, this toy is meant for older children but I truly do not see how it could be engaging for them. It is too simple for the price (whooping £60). It has some lovely features as lights but it is overall quite basic. And once assembled, it just stays there without any true function. It is also too lightweight for a project like this and lacking in detail. I would expect a toy like this to cost around £20-25 (well, with that said, a retailer would probably be alright to add extra 10 for storage/delivery, etc. expenses) but to cost £60 and get away with it it would need to be heavier, sturdier and have more discovery elements.

Great educational toy
This is a really good toy for any children interested in science or how things work. My 6 year old is obsessed with figuring out how things work properly so it was really good for him to be able to build and experience it himself. The instructions were quite clear and he was able to follow them well with a small amount of support. The toy itself works well when put together and he had a real sense of pride when he managed to build something that moved and made sound all on his own. The set was also slightly larger than expected when it is built so that was a welcome surprise.

Fantastic fun introduction to science!
Woah this set is seriously cool! It’s almost a bit like Lego with the construction and instructions with the added bonus of connecting lights, sounds and motion. The instructions were easy to follow and my 6 year old daughter followed it well with some help. Once built the space car moves and lights up, the rocket lights up the panels on top spin and a few other things. She was amazed by it and had lots of questions. A fantastic and fun introduction to science. The only thing I would say is that a few of the things need working on like some of the wheels stay on and some fall off for some reason. It could also do with a tool to take it apart as some of the pieces are really hard to separate for kids once together. The set is larger than expected and brilliant quality, it’s a little pricey but it’s the sort of thing that would get used over and over and as they get older, I would highly recommend.

A great little set for learning
This is great to enhance children's learning with hands on experience in building and circuitry. Great that they can actually create things that light up for example. Though it does need an awful lot of batteries. But the set itself, with its space theme is cool and you can create your own things also. So it's much better than those sets that literally just build a circuit. It is quite expensive at £46.99 but I would still recommend. I hope you found this helpful. Please let me know if you did. 😊

Science made fun - ideal for sparking imagination
This Base Station (there are add on items available) is ideal for children aged 6 and above. If you recall science teaching in the past it was quite dry at times - my introduction to circuitry lit a tiny bulb and was actually quite boring. This huge set is similar to Lego construction but with added science built in. You create sounds, lights and motion - how exciting! Children learning through play is the best way to spark their imagination and scaffold their learning. This set is fabulous - I tested with a very eager 7 year old and we had great fun. Granddad is an electrician and he was super impressed how circuits were being introduced to children. The set is on the pricey side at £60 but I remain happy to recommend as this toy totally supports STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) which is an area children need to be introduced to and their interest sparked⚡️ I hope you find this review helpful 😊

Damaged box
Package arrived today - the outer package was fine however the product packaging was damaged making it look like it had been mishandled prior to packaging. As this is a Christmas gift I haven’t opened the box yet but hope all is in order.

il faut 12 piles pour tout faire fonctionner, alors que dans la description du produit il est noté pas de piles. Sinon c'est top et mes petits enfants ont adoré. quand les piles seront usées je n'en remettrais pas lol Déçue...

The base station set is so much fun to build! Our 6 year old son was able to build the individual parts on his own by looking at the manual. The pieces are easy to put together and the symbols that are on the separate parts allow kids to see how they can match up with each other. The bottom pieces for the command center required some help from parents but we worked together and used our problem-solving skills. Our kids loved making each part (rover, tower, command center) and pressing the power button to see how each part works to move, light up, and turn! Even our 3 year old son was so excited to see how all the pieces join together and they all loved playing with the sound box, especially hearing their own voices come out as robots. Not only does this circuit explorer base station set allow for kids to explore their creativity and curiosity (building skills), but it also provides so much excitement and fun at the same time!

This is one of the best toys we have ever bought for our 6 year old. It keeps her occupied for HOURS! She loves building things so I knew she would love this set. All the pieces are high quality and durable. I love that she is learning new things like how to build a circuit and she thinks it is the coolest thing ever! I love that this set is helping her to learn STEM skills even in kindergarten! She also loves to imaginative play with the astronaut and robots. This is also a fun way for her to use her creativity skills. I am always trying to find fun and educational toys for her to do and I’m so glad I came across this set. She did need some help with some of the pieces but I love that this set will grow with her and she can use it for many years to come! This is the perfect set especially for her right now as she is doing virtual learning and I’ve been trying to find ways for her to have fun learning but keeps her away from the computer/TV/iPad. Highly recommend this. It is the perfect birthday, holiday and just because gift!

We purchased this for our 5 year old who is fascinated with space and electricity. There are maybe 2 or 3 spots in the directions (a step by step book similar to a big building brick brand) that we’re quite unclear. One of the rover’s doesn’t move, but if they had included one more motor and one more battery piece, everything would have lights and motion. Some of the pieces were too difficult for his hands to put together, but we did it together, and he was so proud. The circuits are easy to connect because of the lines provided on different pieces, but there’s not much explanation, so the educational aspect isn’t too strong here. All in all, though, we loved that this was a nice combo between L*go, Sn*p circuits, and a play set. It was a great toy for our son.

These things were a blast with my 4 year old. It's a shame they're increasingly hard to find. You need a lot of AA batteries to get it all started, but they lasted a while before we had to replace them, even with pretty heavy play.
