Decent lights, would be perfect for intended use but I had other plans for the kit.
So I bought this product to use as a underbody light kit. I found the fact that it is a pre-wired kit and the overall length to be perfect for lighting under my Ram 1500. The connectors to string the lights to each other don't appear to be weather tight so I did opt to cutting them off and using a heat shrink butt connector to give the peace of mind that no water will cause the lights from not performing as I wanted. The lead wire is a very generous length and made it easy to run it to power and ground. I tapped into an existing stock light so when I turn my cargo light on or when I unlock my truck these lights turn on and light up the ground around my truck. The light output is pretty good, there are brighter products but if this was used for its intended purpose it would be plenty bright enough. The light color is pretty white but does give off a very slight purple hue so it's not a pure white output. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and product.

Great lights and super simple!
These lights are very bright and simple to install. The only problem I have with this product include the first being the lack of wire they give you from the lights to the battery. This is not a huge problem because you can just go buy more low voltage wire. Overall these took longer than most because I wanted to to them well and throughly. I recommend these lights as a cheap way to brighten up your bed.

Nice bang for buck.
Installed these on a 2016 Ram 1500, equipped with the OEM LED light kit and after the application of an aftermarket spray in liner. I basically tapped these into the OEM lights on the rear of the bed, than ran each string up the side, three to a side. I have a Bakflip MX4 along with the Bakbox 2, and ran the fourth light on each string up to the mounting bracket on each side of the toolbox, so the light shines in there as well. I drilled out the hole on the Xprite LED module a little bit so as to fit a bolt in there to be secured with a nut and a washer...I wanted to be able to remove the light in the event I was dismounting the toolbox. All wires were bundled so as to take up the slack, and secured with zip ties. Rig is very bright, and comes on with the OEM LED lights. The Xprite white lights are not an exact match to the OEM LEDs, but it's not enough to bug me. The Xprite lights appear to stick to the spray in liner just fine even though it is textured. Very nice. I'll be buying more of these.

One was a dud
I installed these on the rocker panels of my car and then behind the grill on the bumper. I first tried to put them in the wheel wells but the light kind of got lost in there. So I moved to the rocker panels and that gives a nice pink underglow. i have a couple of issues with them. 1) One of the pods was flickering so I isolated the connection and still got flickering. Went all the way to the pod, removed it, and then connected directly to power and same flicker. Removed it and took one from the front to replace. A lot of extra work and since I've spliced the wires and coated the pod with sealer, I didn't bother to try to get a replacement. I didn't see how to contact them for anything other than a return. The next time i tested pod was inside my house using just a 9V battery and the middle led was out. So I think I had a defective led in one of the pods. Not a big deal except had I needed all 8 pods, ity would have been because it's a lot of work to run the wires and hook up the switch. Had to remove rocker panels, wheel well panels, clips everywhere, punch through the firwall, etc. So yeah its disappointing when even one of the lights fails. 2) The pods are connected to each other as is so if your plan is within the wire length, you can connect with their connectors. My issue is that I don't believe their connections would hold out the moisture from under the vehicle. You'll probably want to add shrink tubing over the clips for any sort of exposed installation like under the vehicle or wheel wells. Like wise I'm not sure about the pods either so I bought some Liquid Tape which is just plastidip to seal the back and sides of the pods. 3) they are not incredibly bright as rock lights but they are great as underglow lights. Now I just found out in California I can use any color for underglow but red, and since these are pink, I'm a little nervous about it. I may end up moving the whole mess to the interior of the car and to do that it may just be easier to buy another set, since I had to cut and splice the pods for weather protection. I used marine grade butt connectors for the rocker panel lights and shrink tubing over the existing connectors for behind the grill. They are mounted on the top of the metal bumper so they are a little protected by the plastic on the front of the car. I put them on two different circuits, one with a 5 [prong rocker swicth and the other with the included 3 prong switch. Added a fuse coming off the battery and decided a relay would be overkill. The whole thing is fused with a 7.5A fuse and I doubt it would ever draw more than 6 A even with all 8 pods. The switches are fine to handle a small load like that. Now if you want them to go on with your headlights or off when the car is off then you'll want a relay.
