Vi560 S3 M.2 SSD

I put this into my MacBook It is fast and reliable with good storage capacity, design and very easy to install

Died after 6 months use.

I bought this item on Amazon.de two years ago. It was working fine for over a year with no issues. Then it started to cause occasional 100% usage issues that could last for hours without any other high usage tasks running in the background. It usually ended with a blue screen errors or I was forced to reboot my laptop to make it work again for a few hours or days. Finally the time it was working was getting shorter and it stopped booting few days ago. I have never had any issues with other brand SSD's that were under much heavier usage for nearly ten years.

Ottimo disco. Considerando che modelli SATA M.2 stanno praticamente sparendo dal mercato, considerando che sono obsoleti, ci sono ancora molti PC portatili che li usano. Questo della Verbatim fa il suo lavoro, non costa molto ed è affidabile. Compatibile con la maggior parte dei computer portatili che hanno interfaccia m.2 SATA (porta con 2 buchi)

It's a solid state drive - it stores and retrieves data, and does so pretty quickly. Be aware of three things: First, this is an M.2 SATA SSD, also called an NGFF SSD. NGFF stands for New Generation Form Factor. While the form factor may have been new over a decade ago when it was introduced, this SSD still uses the SATA bus, which tops out at 6Gb/sec (768MB/sec), and delivers a practical maximum of about 550MB/sec. It's no faster than a 2.5" SATA SSD, so buy whichever you can get cheaper if your motherboard's M.2 slot only supports SATA/NGFF SSDs. Second, while some M.2 slots support both SATA/NGFF and NVMe/PCI SSDs, many support just one or the other. So before buying this drive, make sure your M.2 slot supports SATA/NGFF. Third, referring back to the earlier comment about speed, if you want those super-fast SSD speeds of up to 7000MB/sec, you need an NVMe SSD, so if your M.2 slot supports NVMe, get that instead of this one.

Très bonne qualité l'écrire est conforme et la lecture très rapide. Je l'ai brancher sur une Freebox ultra en serveur et ça marche parfaitement
