It's a desk. I am very satisfied with this desk. For very little monies it holds things above ground level. I can even maneuver my chair under it comfortably so I can attend to those things I put above ground level. If you need something that full-fills this purpose then this desk is for you. It has ample space for a computer and just enough more for a laptop and some speakers. If you have more than that you might look into the next size up above this one.If you are picky and want something fancy with pretty rainbows and lots of luxury and is aesthetically pleasing to your bourgeois tastes, then stop being cheap. Go look at a desk that cost two or three hundred dollars more and buy that one. Seriously, this desk isn't for you. If you buy this and then complain that there is a dent in it or that the corners are ruffled then you are retarded. You are dumb and you should feel dumb. Go stop being cheap and buy something that goes with that Armani in your closet.

Good table, assembly is rough without good tools
I bought one of these tables at IKEA probably a decade ago and it has not disappointed me so I decided to buy three more, from Amazon obviously. You have to attach a plate to the bottom of the table and it’s easy to do if you have the right tools. The first one I assembled left my hand raw so I bought better tools, a Phillips head screw driver with a better grip, and it saved my hand. Still a good table just the assembly knocks it down slightly for me. It is composite, it’s not real oak or anything but it holds stuff.

The table is okay. Typical good quality construction from iKea, and easy to assemble. The packaging was very substandard and the table arrived with dents / impressions on the desk top (because the legs were in the same box and shrink-wrapped to the top (not the bottom) of the desk top) and a corner was damaged. Not sure it was worth the money - especially given the shipping damage.

Great Desk
You cant beat it for the price! Great desk. For anyone wondering the desk is not that short for 29 inches tall. I honestly thought it would be way too small but it is the perfect height.
