African Mahogany (Khaya Ivorenis) is a beautiful and exotic tropical hardwood from Central and east Africa, with a deep reddish brown color, and a unique shimmer to it. The grain can be straight, but is typically interlocking; with a coarse, but comfortable, uneven texture to it, even when polished. Janka Hardness Rating: 1100. African Mahogany Mongo Muddler's come in two sizes: Mongo Muddlers are 1-3/8" diameter by 9” long. (This is my favorite size.) Super Mongo Muddlers are 1.5" diameter by 12" long.
