It holds my hair in place. Nor does it flakes. I 'll purchased it again.

A little espensive but great ...my hair love it!

I tried to use this for a wash and go and no matter how much product I put through it wouldn't "clump" my curls. I will say that it curled my hair from the root, but in a way where every coil was separated. The next day I realized that I didn't have flakes, rather, the residue from the product just kind of sat on top of my strands. I figured I put too much product in so I tried it a second time with less and the same thing happened. I also tried using it for waves for an updo... it doesn't have much wave factor and again, I was left with residue. One thing I will say is that the reactivation factor of this product is outstanding- I've never seen anything like it. If you want to fix a couple curls, all you need to do is add some water back onto the strand and work it through. Also, for some reason it was incredibly easy to transition my hair from a bun, back down. With this product I never had a "dent" in my hair... I could easily fluff it out. Even if I fell asleep without a cap by accident (and I'm a pretty restless sleeper), it would spruce back. Just some food for thought! Even with these benefits though, I wouldn't buy again, it just didn't do what I needed it to do. Before I forget I know you guys want to know how it smells... a light scent of chives is the best way I can describe it. Not appealing to me, but it disappates as you put it in your hair.

I can’t get past the scent. It’s smells awful. I will admit, I live in a hot climate, so maybe it’s because of the travel time in this heat. However, if this product can’t live up to traveling in hot conditions there should be a warning somewhere. Either way, I can’t take the smell so there’s no way I can actually put this in my hair. It makes me nauseous.

This product had the worst smell. I would never apply this to my head or body. Couldn't even try it, so don't really know if it does what it says it does, as I Couldn't overcome the smell. Put the lid on and threw it away.

3 stars because it leaves flakes in my hair that makes it look like dandruff if you touch it. Other than that the curls held nicely for me
