Q: Would the large pocket that’s ventilated by thick mesh be able to fit size 12/13 shoes ?

It is thick mesh, but would probably not be able to fit both shoes, unless they are like Toms or slip on Vans, gyms shoes with height might be a tight squeeze.

Q: Does it have a shoe compartment? I've read the description and I wanted to be sure, I carry several bottles and meal preps.

It has a large pocket on one side of the bag which is vented by thick mesh that you could put your shoes in. The other side of the bag has another mesh pocket but not as big as the other side but still a good size. It does not have a designated shoe compartment or a wet compartment but it is roomy and I love the bag.

Q: Would I be able to fit two 29" escrima sticks in this bag diagonally? You know, crammed in there and still zip it shut? Thanks.

It would be difficult but you may be able to, if they are diagonal both in the vertical and horizontal plane. I.e from the lower right side to the upper left side.

Q: Is it possibly anybody can post a picture of the inside ? I have a Jaco bag at the moment, but I'm lolling for something with more room

not sure a pic of a black hole will help, but its about 12x12x24, compare that to your old bag. my son puts mens 6.5 shoes in one side pocket, one has jerseys, and the last small one his mouthguard. the main area holds his lax helmet and pads, and three sticks head in and ends sticking out the top. the helmets are not small, its a substantial bag, and we love the ventilation and backpack aspects of it
