Will large(36") fit me,i'm around a 38", i bought some a while back,xl and they were way too big,also leg length,do they make a 30" leg lengths

Hello mate, you don't say whether the previous xl pair you bought "a while back" were also Brandit. If you order 2XL you should be fine with 38" waist. Most inside legs are 31"/32" standard but all these trousers have ties at the end of each leg which make them extra comfortable. The legs are usually wide but they are not baggy. Good luck.

Hi. What does Short meansin the 30W x short size means?

I really don't know. I bought 44" waste or (xxxxl ) they had a 36" leg and I find them really comfortable as they are baggy. Sorry I can't answer any better for you. They do have a good returns policy if that helps
