Air 1615 Case No Foam - Black

I purchased the Pelican Air 1615 Case without foam, and I am incredibly impressed with its quality and durability! This case is perfect for transporting delicate equipment, offering superior protection in a lightweight design that is surprisingly easy to carry. The build quality is exceptional, featuring a tough outer shell that is both impact-resistant and weatherproof. The case provides excellent peace of mind, knowing my gear is safe from the elements and potential damage during travel. The automatic pressure equalization valve is a great feature, ensuring that air pressure remains balanced while keeping out dust and water. One of the standout aspects of this case is its spacious interior, allowing me to customize the layout according to my needs. I appreciate that I can add my own foam or dividers, which makes organizing my equipment much easier. The double-throw latches are secure, yet easy to open, adding to the overall user-friendly design. One minor drawback is that the case does not come with pre-cut foam, which may be a consideration for those looking for an all-in-one solution. However, this flexibility allows for maximum customization, which is a significant advantage

One of my favorite Pelican cases yet. If you're deciding between the 1650 and the 1615 air, the 1650 is beefier and has a stronger frame, but this is plenty protecting capability in my opinion. I use it as a travel case for clothes. Extremely lightweight compared to the 1650 case. I have both. As far as weight capacity, I haven't tested, but im sure it cant hold a solid amount. The case does have some flex empty especially the closing top which can cause an uneven quick close to line up. Not a deal breaker. Definitely better suited for airlines where weight can cost $ or if you're trying to maximize gear in lieu of weight.

Arrived on time, and as described. As expected from Pelican a great product. Considerably lighter than the regular cases! It feels extremely solid. Although not as solid as the regular construction.

These are top quality professional cases. I use mine for all my electronics etc. The foam can be cut to perfectl;y protect any shape and size of item. The 4x push button clasps add to the security. I use two small key padlocks to fully secure the case.

Great quality! I bought for when I work out of town or go to camp. Seems to be well made and weatherproof thus far. The size is perfect and seals well. As you can see with the clips you just have to push at the top rather than the middle, once I realized it works perfect. The wheels glide very nice on concrete and pavement. Very happy with my purchase.

This is not as durable as the classic Pelican case, but it is still super strong. For most uses, I don’t need a Jeep to drive over a case. This is about the same size as my 1650 classic/Protector, but is much lighter, more internal space, and easier latches. Not as wickedly burly, but enough for sure. Would definitely go with Pelican Air for almost all my usage needs. Is just within check-in baggage dimension limits, so no overcharge or special handling fees.

We got this for my husband as he is a lineman and travels for storm calls often. Fairly priced! Protects his belongings and easy to maneuver.

As a makeup artist, I wanted something that could not only protect everything I pack for a film when I travel, but much bigger than my Zuca and travel bags. I wanted something with wheels, side handles. The works, but nothing so big I couldn’t fit in my trunk. Then I saw Pelicans on set from camera crew to lighting. Noticed the different sizes one day. Then saw a fellow Makeup Artist who uses one to pack as her kit. I was inspired even more to start thinking about getting a pelican case! After nearly a year of trying to figure out the right size and interior depth, I went with the 1615. It now carries up to 80% of my kit inside it! My Zuca could only do up to 40-45%, but this pelican made my life less complicated by this alone. It made it so easy on my last project where I was stationed for three weeks doing makeup at a film studio & packing up was so much easier for my life with my kit! Highly recommend this to other makeup artist because it will be the ultimate relief using this case and it’s the perfect depth for fitting everything, especially if your a reporter fanatic like me, you can fit do much in this case if you!

普段は車に積んでおきたいものをまとめて入れておくのに使用して、たまに旅行用スーツケース代わりに使っています 思ったより軽く、たくさん入っていいです 天板は座ったりするには少しだけ柔らかいかなくらいの硬さです

Lo practica y resistente en los vuelos Eso es lo principal el inconveniente es que en algunos aerepuerto como Zurich y Paris lo toman como equipage dimensionado a pesar de explicarles que son medidas estándares. Por todo lo demas excelente producto!!

I used it for video equipment and travel the world. The quality, durability and practicality is unprecedented. They are purely the best case ever made. I called it the anty nuclear case. Can't be destroyed.
