I have tried copper tape around pots, which has failed against slugs and snails. This copper ribbon is very flexible and I have been able to mould it around the top of the pot. Making it difficult for these pests to get to the plants. They were also munching at my new Clematis down at ground level, so I wound a length of the ribbon around the stems at ground level and so far so good. It's good value and cheaper than having to buy new plants.

I purchased this in order to eradicate slug and still damage to my tender plants. Our garden pests have got undercarriages like sherman tanks or the were pole vaulters in a past life. I've decided two lines of defense are required,egg shells are good.
