hello, if you need something to create a very strong base for a design, this 10 gauge wire is it. it is very sturdy and can still be shaped into any design. some people will need smooth tip needle nose pliers to create the smooth final shapes, but remember that grooved surfaced pliers will scratch the smooth artistic wire. this should be used for making a base structure as it is extremely sturdy and fairly rigid. but, 5 feet does not go very far, so design with care. the silver color stands out nicely. a great product and delivery

I got the Artistic Wire, 16 Gauge Silver Plated Tarnish Resistant Colored Copper Craft Wire to make jewelry with. The wire works fairly good, however it seems a little hard to bend to me. It also seems to scratch and nick easily, even when you use smooth pliers, it seems like you hardly touch it and there is a mar on it. I have used other wire that I thought had better qualities than this, so I won't be purchasing this brand again. Also, the shipping took way longer than I expected.

I needed to wire the brim of a red straw hat and this was the perfect weight to do so and with the color you can't even tell this is there.

Good for wire wrapping. I found that this wire DOES tarnish. I used it to make some wire rings and toe rings and after about a month of wearing the copper starts to show through. I was kind of unhappy as I used this wire to make rings that I sold at a recent art and craft festival. Since it states it is tarnish-resistant, I was hoping that it would last longer than it did, but the ring and toe ring I have been wearing has definitely worn the silver coating off. I will continue to use it for wire wrapped earrings, but probably not for rings.

Looks great but I bought the wrong gauge. Will save this for another project and ordered a thinner wire.
