Perfect, easy to install and looks great

Ford wanted about three times more for their rigid trifold bed cover. This one is much more reasonably priced and it looks and performs great. It’s easy to install although the instructions are a little confusing, but one you figure it out, it goes on quick. It is extremely sturdy. I haven’t tried standing on it like the people in the product picture, but I feel very confident that it would support a lot of weight if needed. It extends all the way to the gate so it provides a locked and secure area once the gate is up and locked (the cover cannot be lifted without opening the gate). I haven’t noticed any water getting through it from the rain or the car wash so it seems pretty weather proof. It comes with a small LED light that you can attach to the inside of your truck bed to provide light but I found it pretty useless and took it down. Still a nice touch if you need it.

Strong enough for my children to climb on top, but I still tell them to get off. Be aware, don't put sand on top as the sand will get in the hinges that it will rub all the time and make it difficult to turn the panels. This is easy to remove if I ever need to carry something large to use the full bed of the truck. the seal is just too short in my opinion and it takes a couple of times to get the cover to sit just square all around and then make it tight to the bed.

Very nice product, seems well made. First section nearest cab, fasteners are straight ahead easy to install. The next two fasteners on each side have the handle. IMPORTANT , The bolt goes thru the plastic opening then thread onto the bolt. That sentence will save you headaches and lots of time. Two of my handle fasteners didn't line up with the plastic hole so I thought, ok it doesn't go this way and proceeded threading on the handle w/o feeding thru plastic hole. Lots of wasted time doing over and trying to find video that shows in detail how it goes together. Finally found a video with this detail and YES it works.

Bought this Hard Tonneau cover for my 2023 Ford F-150. I really like it for two reasons, it gives me locked space in the bed and I believe it saves on gas (don't really have any proof of gas savings but not having air hitting the tailgate at speed has got to be a good thing). Cover fits nice but did require some extra foam tape (purchased separately) at the front of the bed to make a good seal. Was fairly easy to install but you need to take your time and measure to get it to fit right side to side. A couple of tips for installing: 1) On an F-150 line up the edge of the cover with the outside front edges of the bed, the front edge of the bed has a slight curve to it so using the outside edges allows you to align the cover properly and also positions it so that there is the right amount of cover at the tailgate. 2) Be mindful of how tightly you adjust the 6 cover tiedowns/clamps. The front tiedowns need to be reasonably tight but not so tight that the cover bows down in the middle. The next two sets of clamps should only be tightened enough to make a seal. If the cover is again bowed down in the middle, they are too tight. The secret here is that no cover is 100% watertight but a cover that is bowed down in the middle leaks a lot. When my cover is set up like this it is securely in place and leaks very little. Hope this info helps.

My hubby and I weren’t sure if we were going to like this cover, but after using it for the past 10 months we are loving it. We’ve had zero problems with it, it fits nicely on our 2022 Ford XLT and was easy to install, easy to fold up when you need room.
