Works with Kia Sportage
Works great with our kia shortage. Used last fall and again this year. I like the air flow that this provides. It does seem to have gaps around the sides, and the magnets did not work at all. I'm wondering if that gap will be an issue allowing bugs getting into the cabin in the future? This is a great inexpensive way to get into car camping. Easy set up and take down.

Initially impressions..
My initial impressions are pretty good for the price and being realistic, you shouldn't expect excellence in this price range anyway. However, I do expect it to be at least as advertised. Which so far, it basically is. The Large size fits my Jeep Grand Cherokee well. There are a few gaps around the back windows once sinched down that I mostly have covered with some extra magnets I purchased (see pics). The 6 magnets included with the tent are not enough for my vehicle. Your milage may very depending on the shape of your tailgate. You can never have to many so I strongly encourage picking up an extra set. You will also see in my pics that I used two budgie cords running from the two attachment points on top to my roof basket. This helps keep the slack out of the top portion and tight to the vehicle. I also put magnets across the top. Less gaps = less bugs.Pros: Compact and lightweight, Easy one person setup, Adds roughly 14 inches of extra legnth inside my Jeep. Maximizes ventilation, beats the heck out of sleeping on the cold ground.Cons: Low quality plastic hooks for wheels. Get some quality rubberized ones so they don't snap or scratch your wheels. Needs waterproofing spray because none of the seams are tapes. No awning poles included, The main zipper is difficult to get to once closes down at the center of the bumper. All in all this is a decent, affordable tailgate tent. With some very inexpensive mods like more magnets, waterproofing spray and better hooks to attach the wheels straps, you have a very usable sub $100 setup.

Perfect for car camping!!
Love, love, love this!! Easy to set up and take down. It fit my Palisade perfectly! I have told all my friends about it. Love the mesh/netting, purchased with some window covers and we were able to sleep with a nice comfortable breeze in mid July in Ontario.

Fits a ford escape
It fit perfectly over my 2012 ford escape. It was very easy to set up like less than 5 minutes and it was very secure onto the car. The rain flap can either zip closed or it can be rolled up to stay open which is what we did. The material felt good like a normal camping tent.

Easy to install
Pleasantly surprised by this hatchback tent! It works well on my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek. Easy for this 5'5" Gen X woman to put on and remove. I've just started solo car camping and this gives a nice little bit of extra room. I've used it twice so far and it seems well made and good quality material. If I spent more time folding it would probably fit in the bag easier.

Serious quality issues but love it anyway
I love this thing, dammit. It fit my 2018 Rav4 pretty well; a little tight in some places and a little baggy in others, but nothing problematic. It made camping and sleeping in that car so much better! (A few window and sunroof screens made a big difference too) The problem is the quality of the materials. The fabric and mesh are fine and well enough constructed, but the elastic straps that secure to the tires and under the rear of the car are frayed and worn after one 6 day trip. We put it up and left it up for the entire time, there were some pretty high winds in the afternoons (+/- 25 mph) so I can see there would be friction, but the elastic is thin and pretty weak like maybe not strong enough to hold up your yoga pants. Many other elastics or webbings would be far more abrasion resistant, so I'll likely change them all out eventually if the thing holds up that long. The stakes are garbage except maybe for kebab skewers. The zipper around the mesh opening is cheap and already feels like it won't last. Oh, and the little magnets to close any gaps around the opening against the car? Great idea, crap execution. They are fridge magnets at best and only for thin paper. (Get these; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NT2F7M3/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_2?smid=A1R61Y8J01DK0A&th=1 little niobium ones. They are perfect and held up in the aforementioned baggy spots and wind.) For the record this tent and the other two like it on Amazon are perfect for the purpose and I would pay more for a better execution of a similar design but I haven't seen that anywhere on the web yet. I haven't tested it in wet conditions, but fingers crossed.

Easy setup. Works well.
So far, so good!I've used it a handful of times. Easy set up. It only takes a few minutes. It fits my 2017 Hyundai Elantra GT perfectly and gives extra space for car camping. The awning is great! Needed to buy poles. Without extra guy lines or weights, the canopy does fall in a bit.The only downside is I'd like to see an extra tent flap between the mesh and the canopy because I wanted to close the tent up but couldn't do that without taking down the canopy. I want both!
