Nicer than I expected! Might be used to demonstrate why the Earth has seasons, but it's small. Also Earths angle of declination is not adjustable on mine. It looks cool but is more art than function.

I purchased as a decorative item for my bookcase. Visually, it's nice enough. But, I thought it would be larger. And, I also thought that the various spheres would be moveable. Not so. The outermost sphere moves a quarter turn, maybe. For a precision instrument, it leaves much to be desired. As an attractive, if very small bauble, it is well enough.
