Great for fish tanks, older generation gets a kick out of it!

I purchased this for grandchildren's use in our aboveground pool, but I tested it first. I like the concept, but unfortunately it seems almost random to control input response. When it is within about 2' of the transmitter, it does respond well, but it will always go in circles even when you want it to go straight. It does have an adjustable rudder, obviously intended to trim out minor turning tendencies, but this does not help. It will go straight for a short time, but invariably starts circling after a few moments. Also the range is too short. Maybe 5' on the surface, shorter when submerged. Too much money for this performance, will be returning, and possibly trying a different style...

I didn’t have these when I was young so im trying it out now dont care what age I am its a pretty neat little toy. only used it one for like 5 min but so far so good I filled up my house bathtub to try out and its pretty fast, only thing is I wish when you defend deeper that it would lock you in that depth until you decide to resurface. so things can always improve.

Water shorted the internal battery and damaged the propeller mechanism when used in a bathtub; not even a pond or lake. Best use case would be a sink or fish bowl.

My grandson loves it and it’s still running strong after over a months worth of regular use!

Easy for kids to use

My 8yo son bought this with his own money. I warned him that many reviewers stated that it only went around in circles. He decided to get it anyway. Well, he discovered that yes, it only goes around in circles. Now he’s upset that he spent so much money on a toy that goes around in circles. I’m upset that I have to hear him complain about something when I warned him. Buyer beware.

This toy went down a treat for Christmas with one of our boys. It charges up quickly and the battery life was remarkably good. While I was a little concerned that it would be too delicate it has held up well over the last few weeks. I would recommend this toy

Terrible product, doesn’t work right out of the box. Made for a very disappointing Christmas morning for a little boy. Stay away from this junk.
