Nice design and heavy glass.
I was so surprised when opening this box and found the glass eye cup. Very heavy weight glass and works well! I would absolutely say to purchase if you are looking at purchasing this. You will not be disappointed. It sealed around my eyes when using a daily eye wash.

good eye cup
I remember my grandfather having to use an eye cup for his dry eyes. Now it's my turn ;/ I do like this eye cup but it could have a better fit. Some water does dribble out but it does seem to do the trick.

It's a terrific eye wash glass cup, I love it!
I like it because it's easy to use, it's made to fit around your eye so it's more comfortable than other eye glass cups that I haveused. I have not been able to find glass eye cups in any storeor pharmacy, only the plastic kind that doesn't last.

Wash out my eyeball now
I can now clean out my eyeball the correct way with this, before I had this all I could do was use and eye dropper and put the liquid in it. I couldnt find one of these in the store to save my soul, I looked in everystore I went into, and I went into about 7 or 8 and not one had them, the only place to get them is here on Amazon. It is thick glass and just like I remember from back in school days when we had to use them if we got something in our eyes back then. I am very happy with it and use it all the time.

Eyes aren't narrow ovals.
I like that it's glass instead of plastic but it's not anatomical. When I press it against my eye to make a seal, it hits my eyeball and that's not comfortable. If it's not as tightly pressed, water leaks. Has anyone tested this on a real person?

Made in China
OK, that's only one strike if you are expecting a piece of glass that will hold water. I stupidly thought that just because others said this product leaked didn't mean much. I put the water in, hold my head over the sink and rinse my eye, right? Wrong. The glass isn't symmetrical so when you put this up to your eye you can't even keep the water in if you are leaning over the sink--it splashes out the lower side. I have an antique eye rinse glass and it fits snugly to my eye so that I can keep my eye immersed. I hated risking breaking it so I bought this one with the mistaken hope it would be the same. Not even close. It isn't contoured to fit an eye socket--it has a straight across lip that dips on one side. So, to all of you who said this product leaks, I apologize for not listening to you. If you want to take a chance and buy one, you'll be like me. At least I'm only out $5 or so. I saw antique ones on ebay for $10 that are similar to the one I have so I'm going to buy what works, what's made with quality and what doesn't aggravate the crud out of me.

A good quality glass eye cup if you want to avoid ...
A good quality glass eye cup if you want to avoid more plastic in your life or a plastic item that will break down with use. I make an herbal eyewash in them that requires I start with hot water. These cups are great for that. I would be hesitant to try that with plastic eye cups. Also, I can run them through the dishwasher in the gadget rack.
