Quntis Screen Light Bar No Glare, 20.4'' Auto-Dimming Monitor Lamp with Adjustable Brightness and Color Temperature, USB Reading Light for Desk/Home/Office

I love my Ben Q monitor light, it is affixed to my home office workstation. I needed a light source for my Surface Pro when I am away from the office: I bought several portable office lamps but those took up unnecessary space and didn't product nearly as much light as a monitor-mounted light bar - so I bought this screen light.Overall, it works great for the price and I'm happy with the purchase!Pros:- nice build quality, design is minimal and the finish is a soft matte- sensor to auto-adjust works just fine- screen glare from the light is either greatly reduced or non-existing, which is why I like a monitor light over portable a desk lamp- I like the option to adjust brightness/ temperature level for fine-tuning, instead of having presets. These controls are easy to adjust and positioned intuitively.- USB-C for power- light produced is bright and far-reaching, this product meets my use-case for having a light source when working away from my office. But this won't work as well if working without a monitor - the light can't mount, so you would need a different light source then.- it's slightly more expensive than other portable lights (led office desk lamps), but not as expensive as the BenQWhat I like about BenQ more than this Computer Monitor Light- the build on the BenQ screen bar feels more premium with metal finishes- BenQ screen bar is brighter and more far-reaching despite being smaller size- I prefer the auto-adjust sensor on BenQ better because of where the light sensor is located- BenQ screen bar can be attached to its mount from anywhere, whereas the Computer Monitor Light product must be attached to the center of the light bar- BenQ mounting is better, it sits better on the monitor whereas the Computer Monitor Light kind of awkwardly hangs on top of my monitor because the monitor is too thin for the mount to be properly secured- BenQ screen bar tilting is more adjustable than the Computer Monitor Light - probably has to do with the mount, it allows BenQ screen bar toOverall, I'm happy that I got this Computer Monitor Light because it fits my needs for a portable light source from my computer that doesn't take up additional space and doesn't produce too much glare on my computer. I necessarily wouldn't pick this light over the BenQ Screen Bar, but this product holds up to its value for the price point.

First off, I didn't know such a product existed until I researched a solution to replace several desk lights for my father's den. Unfortunately, I don't have a before photo with multiple desk lights, but he was using a total of three desk lights (He's in his late 60s and the halogen spotlights weren't bright enough due to high ceiling) when he is writing or reading.PROS:+ Sleek, contemporary design+ Touch buttons to control the color temp, brightness, auto-adjust, and power+ No glares when using the monitor+ Saves desk space by mounting on top your monitor+ Provides evenly distributed lighting on your desk+ Reasonably priced for the quality and build+ Good size for a 27" LCD. If you have a 32" it may feel it's not proportional, but again, depends on how wide of lighting you need to cover.CONS:+ Max power is limited to 5W due to USB-powered light bar. For someone who needs greater output, you may need to look for a light powered via wall outlet.My father needed about 10-12W LED powered light. Despite this initial con, my father grew to like this light bar and pros ended up outweighing the cons. In particular, he really liked the even light distribution when writing/reading as well as minimize eye-fatigue from prolonged use.SUMMARY:The Quntis computer monitor light effectively replaced 2 of 3 desk lights, creating more desk space. I had researched various alternatives, including the BenQ, and decided to go with this one for several reasons:1) Price / performance (if this didn't work out, BenQ would've been the alternative)2) Touch buttons give it a higher quality feel vs. the button controls; it's also within reach if needed to make adjustments3) Length* of the light bar is a perfect fit for 27" monitors(*Note: Product overview up top states 22~29" monitors, but shows incorrect item dimension of 10 x 4.3 x 2 inches. That was a bit of a gamble and concern before purchasing. After receipt, I can safely confirm that the correct dimension is in the Product Description (scroll down the page), which is 20.47 x 0.79 x0.79 in.)Thankfully it all worked out. After seeing how well it works, I'm planning to get order another one for myself!

$47.99 is not a cheap price so I was expecting a little better quality for this lamp. It works, I like the brightness settings, it lights up my desk well, but my nit picks are:1. This is how it was shipped. No brown box with any kind of packing material. I am surprised nothing was broken.2. Instructions are either translated to English or just were not revised. There's a very small manual that isn't all that clear on what you should do.3. A slight bump will make this lamp crooked; it's not tightly faceted onto my monitor which is surprising because it seems like that's something stressed upon when trying to sell any monitor lamp, including this one.Overall I don't think I'll be returning this lamp unless it just stops working. It's an alright little lamp and does its job well enough, but $47.99 is a little much. I can see maybe $28 for a more reasonable price.

Great light, affordable and lasts a while. I got my wife her own and she loves it.
