I love this light. Simple. Price: It's on the high end, I wont lie. But you're getting quality from the purchase you can see and feel. Heat: Extremely great heat dissipation through the passive cooling features, including the heatsink on the driver and the WHOLE board is thick aluminum, dissipating heat. At 80% power, the hottest part of the board is 110F, easily hand touchable. Light: I'm getting an easy 927 umol/s/m2 at about 20" at the center. Full spectrum with red added to cover the extra side of the spectrum that the whites lack/. Samsung diodes is a big win. Efficiency: 2.55 umol/j - thats fantastic -- comparatively, HPS 400W has 0.7 umol/j Pulling around 620-635W at the wall at 100% Features: The DIMMING is great. It does not daisy chain, and the dimmer switch seems only use about 50 of the knob's capacity (50% of the knob is 100% power), but otherwise, it's got everything I need. HLG has definitely done a great deed with this light and I'm looking forward to the lineup as it evolves. Feel confident in adding this to your greenhouse arsenal!!

I must say, was hesitant about the price . But after just 1 night very noticeable difference in quality of growth and plant development. I would recommend this pretty light to any grower whether its a beginner or pro. My crops thank you . But in this world 🌎 you get what you pay for and it shows with hlg from simple instructions due to the quality, coverage, design and output. Very happy with the purchase. Also made in the U.S.A which is important to me.

A great light that will give you a great yield. I was pleasantly surprised at how little my total energy use actually increased with I began to use it.

Big difference in coverage. Does not run as hot for a passive heat sink as I thought it would. I like the dimmer control as well

This bright light is made extremely well. The material used to assemble this light are nothing but the best. This light is by far brighter than my MarsHydro TS 3000. The dimmer is of better quality material than any other LED light I have purchased. The only flaw I can possibly find is that this light puts of some heat but nothing that cannot be dissipated with a clip on fan.

HLG is so choice. Such good hardware.

After doing many weeks/months reviews of lights i settled to try for this one. It has blown my expectations out of the water! The light penetration is second to none, as well as the quality of light you receive. Has been a HUGE improvement over the 600 watt HPS i was using, as well as the heat level in the area as dropped over 14 degrees F at 80% power. If i ever find myself in a position to have more of these, i will never think twice about grabbing them.

Compared to several other LED lights I've used in the past, this light is kicking butts and taking names. After trying different LED lights in the past few years I am really happy to settle on this light. Great growth, great coverage, good light penetration and happy healthy plants with fat resin laden buds. I keep it about 28 inches from the top of the canopy above several 3-4 foot plants below it. Very happy with this light. It does throw a bit of heat at full power but nowhere near as much as the 1000 watt HPS it replaced. My only wish is that the dimmer switch was more tactile in terms of clicking at let's say 25%, 50% on up but that isn't a set back and doesn't subtract from the quality of this light and the results it produces. .
