This device provides valuable assistance when getting into bed but don't expect it to be quite as smooth as the non-arthritic teenagers shown in the video. Where this product REALLY shines is getting into my car. I no longer dread having to go somewhere or psyching myself out just to get into a car. I bought a second one to keep in the car. It also helps when getting my foot into position for a pedicure. The multiple handles can also help boost your leg power in several rehab exercises. I tried this same concept months ago with a multi-handle yoga strap but it was practically impossible to wrangle that limp strap into position to capture my foot. This rigid strap works great. The item comes folded in a triangle. It doesn't spring open as described but it's pretty easy to unbend--just don't do it too often if you need to travel with it. I've even discovered that you can put a custom bend into the metal strip to lessen pain even more, working your way around leg positions that give you the most grief.

Bought this for hip replacement recovery. It allowed me to get in and out of bed without another person to assist. Very well made and like that it has several handles to grab. My visiting physical therapist commented on how nice it is. Ships bent into a triangle Don't let that stop you. Get someone strong to straighten the handle... well worth the price!

Easy to use. TKR is in a few days. Seems to work great. Wish I had had this after my first TKR. I'm 6'3", wish the rigid section was about 6" longer. What are the three pads for? There is no mention of them in the instructions. And, the lifetime guarantee states that "If you encounter any quality issues, please feel free to contact us." Since there is no information regarding phone number or address (email or physical), I'm not sure how one could possibly contact them. No, the name of the company isn't on the guarantee either.

I'm have hip replacement surgery in a month and having difficulty getting in and out of a car. This has been a huge help! So much less painful, and the extra handles make it so easy to use. I'm sure it will be very useful after the surgery as well.

We could never seen a product like this. Our 82-year-old father has mobility issues and uses. rollator to walk. He has the nobility with his legs and his head challenges getting in and out of his vehicle. This has been a complete godsend! He keeps it in the car and prior to existing his vehicle, he will put it on the seat so that it is within easy reach to be able to get in the car the next time. We highly recommend this. The only negative comment or constructive feedback that I would suggest to the manufacture, when the product arrived it was folded multiple times. We were so concerned about opening at fearful that it would snap. There were no instructions on how to extend it. Don’t be afraid to unfold it if you purchase it.

Actually, it looks like they forgot to sew a part, as it was just hanging free with no previous attachment visible, where a person is supposed to loop over their foot. As a result, it was totally useless.

Works wonderfully for assisting lifting my leg for exercises and into bed/car after hip replacement surgery and also would work well for post knee replacement. Portable and part of my at home exercise program for rehabilitation.
