I ordered one of these to extend my 7 way extension - as long as both are rated for 13a and current isn’t exceeded , it’s usually pretty safe. The housing is made of plastic but seems decent quality and it does the job perfectly , the cable is nice and thick but it is shorter than 3m (not by much maybe 20-30cm) so if exact size is a priority , get a longer one just to be safe. Overall , it does its intended job and I think it’s worth the money.
