1st Choice for budget 2 in 1 laptops
I was a little skeptical when I bought this 2in1 laptop, I had not heard of the brand and thought I would end up sending it back, I could not have been more wrong. I run my own consultancy business and travel alot for work, when I couldn't get the Microsoft Surface 9 and didn't want to wait, I took to Amazon to find something similar. This has been perfect, lightweight, responsive and the graphics are phenomenal, really crisp, makes it quick and easy to present to clients, take notes, and write emails. I use it for everything from emails to CAD work. Can't recommend enough. The only aspect I wish was a little better is the battery life, but I think that is to be expected given the cost.

Good value for a fairly well equipped laptop/tablet
This is a well specified machine for the price, for example it includes 256kGB SSD, It is perhaps oversold as a laptop, as it is essentially a WIndows Tablet with a fairly good add-on keyboard. For those used to a traditional laptop, the keyboard seems pretty flimsy and can fall off if you're not careful (but in my case, has never been damaged in the process). Note the keyboard has an American layout without the"£" symbol, which is a bit annoying, but you can switch to an on-screen alternative layout. The performance is fine for standard (office type) tasks, but the processing speed seems a bit inadequate for some video applications. It's ok for basic Zoom, but don't expect filters or backgrounds. I seems ok with Google Meet, but simply can's deal with DUO. Similarly, it cannot cope with SKY GO, but seems fine with Amazon Prime video. Overall, good value and a neat device, but not if you want a fast CPU.

The problems aren’t worth it - there’s too many
This product has a lot of problems. Some of the problems include the touchscreen facility messing up intermittently, the battery dying even though it clearly said that it’s charging, the cameras not great, the touchpad is very annoying to use. The touchscreen facility would make up for it but oh wait, it doesn’t work sometimes 🙄 basically don’t buy this.

Impressive
The 'ubook x' is very impressive. The screen is excellent and the pen operates well. The battery life is good although I cannot give you an exact number of hours at the moment. It seems like a 'surface' clone but for a lot less money. I am very pleased with it so far. I would recommend getting a palm rejection glove as, although it does work without it, you need something like that to get the best out of the device.

Battery died after 2 weeks.
Had to send the laptop back. Enjoyed for the first 1 and a bit but then the battery carried on to not hold charge and wouldn't last longer than an hour, while completing generic office tasks. Now doesn't hold charge at all.

Shame about the battery life
I bought this as a tablet to run my model train layout. It's a great little unit that seems to work well, apart from the battery life. There was the usual issues with user instructions being badly translated from Chinese (instead of looking amateurish, why don't companies spend a few pounds to have the instructions properly translated); and I don't know if it was just mine, but the battery lasted less than half a day before it needed recharging. I know that the train program doesn't use that much power, so I am afraid I had to return it.

Shocked at the quality, long battery life and speed
Surpassed what I was expecting. Upgraded to windows 11, keeping the memory load quite light. This machine performs better than my older computer that cost £1200...... Fantastic for everyday use, with the beauty of 7 hours battery life... Get rid of the bloat and then you got a smooth quick tablet...

A great tablet PC alternative to the surface pro
A really nice product for a very good price. The only down side was the factory installed screen protector did have a few bubbles in it. It runs fast enough for all day to day activities although would struggle on games. My son uses it for his college work and says it's a perfect size. Very portable with a high quality feel to it - especially the keyboard. It's nice that you can detach the keyboard to make it a tablet and the included pen works very well. The memory and hard drive sizes are great, making it a very suitable multitasking device. The screen is nice and bright, a reasonably high resolution with good deep colours. Sound wise, it's not good at all. Low quality and tinny. Would I purchase this device again? I think so yes. Regards to Amazon's customer service in this purchase - that was appalling. They marked the device as refunded and returned, even though this isn't the case. It's paid for and still in use.
