Absolutely perfect!
As a professional artist with appalling posture (working on the couch gets to be a bit too tempting sometimes), I've got a bit too good of late at crumpling up like a concertina in even the most sturdy ergonomic desk chairs. I thought something without a backrest might be a good incentive for me to sit up straight and stave off the seemingly inevitable transformation into a prawn. This stool is the one. It arrived quickly, was incredibly easy to assemble (so easy I thought I must be missing something), & I'm already feeling the benefits. The seat is comfortable—firm, but definitely padded; far more forgiving than your average exercise bike, let's say—and the construction of the stool itself feels nice and sturdy. The seat adjustment lever is easy to reach and works smoothly, and the casters are a nice width, so it doesn't look like you've been rollerblading all over on your carpet. All in all, I'm sitting straighter, my posture's better, & it's basically on a zero-effort basis thanks to the construction of the seat. Exactly what I was after for a healthier, more ergonomic sitting experience at my desk. My prawn days are over. Well worth the price tag.

Posture Perfection Saddle Stool!
What did I like?Fast delivery, economical price, very good packaging, high quality and ease of assembling and set up time. What did I dislike?None so farRecommend to buy?Depends what you need. I had a Herman Miller Merra Carbon chair and got rid of it to go back to basis and keep it simple, want to let my body do the work in its natural form. This saddle stool is very comfortable for my hip and legs, also can easily manoeuvre with the standing desk. I’ve been told, 60% standing and 40% sitting - and for sitting part, to try saddle stool or something similar to help with my lower back pain and strengthening my lumber spine. If you find this review helpful, please give a thumbs up or down, up to you. But definitely try and if you don’t like the product return for a refund.*I don’t have links with this product or the merchant or get any affiliate value out of this. Just wanted to help fellow back pain sufferers like me to benefit from it.

Everyone needs this in the kitchen.
Came in two parts that easily fit together and so comfortable. Great colour.I am disabled and cannot stand for more than a couple of minutes and walking is nearly impossible. This stool has given me back my kitchen life.

Excellent mobility aid!
Just what I needed! I'm disabled, needed a bit of extra support in kitchen/workshop, that would allow me to move around a bit without getting up & down constantly, or my knees getting in the way.If you're mobile enough, this beats the old 'perching stools' hands down - but you DO need to be careful when sitting down to make sure it doesn't slide away from under you.It rolls VERY smoothly, even on my slightly rough slate tile floors (again, caution, can take you by surprise!), makes moving around the worktop very low effort. The shape of the seat means I can move my legs out of the way to get to the kitchen worktop. The extra height of this (taller than most around the same price point) means I can use it at my workbench in an almost-standing height/position, move around bench comfortably, with the stool taking most of my weight. This increases the amount of time I'm able to spend doing whatever I'm doing before my carcass quits on me, by a reasonable amount. If I'm being very picky:-When at it's lowest, it's a bit too high for sitting at kitchen table (but then again I did choose tallest model, for workbench purposes.) Seat slightly wider than expected, but appears comfortable so far.**You DO need some degree of mobility to use safely, not have it roll out from under you etc., exercise caution!I've been after one of these since first spotting one in my vet's surgery, & trying it out. Thought it'd help support my weight off my legs just enough to extend my "active time" a little bit. I'm slowly working up to it, but so far, so good.Very pleased.

It’s not leather or stainless steel, but vinyl and chromed aluminium.
But it’s very comfortable, adjusts quickly and looks expensive, it all depends on what your intended use is, personally I’ll be using it to visit people at home, small ear procedures max 40 min duration and it’ll be perfect for that purpose, I’ve ordered a large canvas drawstring bag to transport it in the car.Maybe I’ll get around to putting actual leather on at some point, depends on how attached I become to it.

Sturdy and easy to put together
This feels very sturdy and it rolls easily on my laminate flooring. The height adjustment is useful too.

Comfortable but I'm not sure it's going to last long...
For the same money I should of gone to a more reputable brand. I've used this chair whilst carrying out a 45 minute facial just 3 times and it's already sagging, meaning the foam material is flattering...already.It's an otherwise nice stool and looks nice and feels comfortable.
