A good quality item well packaged . The corners are protected with plasic guards for transport . The item is made of 15cm thick MDF. Height is 89cm. The item is easy to assemble and looks great. The functionality for storing CD is good. Well woth the money.

I ordered this unit to store some Blurays on. The finish of the unit is excellent. Its high quality, easy to put together and all the shelves are veneered around the edges, there is no bare unfinished wood on this cabinet so that was a pleasant surprise. But the problem I have, is that its really only best at storing CD's. To fit Bluray disks into the spaces you have to drop each shelf to the top peg holes of the next one down. To get the space to fit taller DvDs or Blurays. Which then gives you less compartments and four spare shelves you cant use. You can bolt both together to make a tall single unit or stand them side by side which is why I bought it, so the options are good. But if you are getting it to store Bluray disks then there is a lot less space for them than you think, which is why I took a star off the review.

I spent a while comparing different CD storage units, reading the reviews, etc until I decided that this set of 2 units were the best for my requirements. The box arrived within the timescales mentioned in one heavy box, securely wrapped. The colour and style were just as expected and as shown, which was great, and the instructions and tiny circular stickers to place over where the large screws were installed, looked perfect in disguising the metal nuts, to help everything blend in together. The contruction was easy enough for my DIY enthusiast husband, though he did use his own cordless tools to help tighten the nuts/bolts. For the cost I would say they are worth the money; they are of a quality wood style, sufficiently heavy to stand firm (a safety feature was included to attach the units to walls but we didn't need to apply it). Our CDs look great in the units and fit in well with the rest of our furniture in our Music Room. I would not hesitate to recommend these units.

Slim, if you need a slim unit, versatile? Yes if you have a different idea to use this for, but if you think will be good for DVD's do not buy it... l've made the mistake thinking that l can modify the location of the shelves. Yes l managed to have only 3 shelves on 1 unit, but not 3 shelves for DVD'S,bonly 2. I have attached pictures so you can see... Easy to assembled, even for me who l am not used to flat packs, quality would have been good, but not very good, as there are ugly gaps which are visible if you do not fill the unit fully,cwhich l cannot. If only the manufacturer had drilled more holes, but as it is, l wasted more money, money that l need to find a unit that works. If you buy the high gloss, yes it is white, and a better white than lkea kallax units, so it is a bonus, unfortunately not for me. Its worth it for as long you accept the minuses, and the limitations...

Amazing value for money. The packaging is second to none. So sturdy and attractive wood finish. I had the CD's in a plastic box that was getting heavy to move. They are now readily accessible. Only one gripe. I sat staring at the instructions for 30 minutes because the diagrams and numbers are so small. I worked it out myself by looking at the number of various connectors.

I got the gloss black version and it does look very smart. Construction is easy with everything fitting as it should and tightly too! End result is an extremely sturdy and quite heavy storage unit. This is obviously a quality bit of flat pack furniture that is definitely worth the price. Bluray users need to be aware that you won't get full storage if you intend to stand the Blurays up on their side rather than laying them down. The size of Bluray cases means there will be gaps between shelves. This is because, for whatever reason, the manufacturer didn't bother to drill equally spaced holes for the shelves all the way down entire length of the unit. Instead they are in groups of three and then a big space inbetween the groups which limits the possibilities considerably. In the end you'll end up with 4 usable compartments per unit (so 8 in total) each taking 12 Blurays standing vertically giving you a total storage of 96. You can then squeeze a few more in if you don't mind laying them on top of others to fill in the gaps! Alternatively you can lay all the Blurays on their side as the unit is the perfect width for doing so.

A nice unit and easy to put together, but I can't understand when they are depicted on the description photos standing side by side why there are holes in the top.
