I bought the 1 liter size. It’s attractive and practical. Perfect size for making tea for one for the morning . After warming the carafe , pouring out the water I add the not quite boiling tea water and a bag of my favorite Earl Grey loose leaf tea. The tea stays nice and hot for hours.Sometimes I use it for iced water. Stays coldfor hours.The top is very easy to “ thread” on. Some carafes are tricky to get the top on just right. Which is difficult for my arthritic hands. Pouring the tea or ice water is also easy and no drips.It’s easy and quick to clean the carafe by hand. . I recommend this carafe.

Carafes are a MUST for serious caffeine addicts: The "warming pad" of a drip coffeemaker is deadly to drinkable coffee. Your selection revolves around SIZE and materials. When determining how much coffee you need to shelter, keep in mind that a standard "cup" is a mere 5oz (0.15ml) for a coffeemaker, so the ISOSTEEL 1.5L is a ten "cup" vessel.The smaller (1.0L) carafe wasn't gonna cut it for me, so I went big instead of home.An ideal carafe has an unbreakable GLASS vacuum bottle in it. Unfortunately, there is no such thing. If you cannot abide the prospect of someday shattering a breakable vacuum bottle, go with stainless steel. I have shattered enough glass bottles, thank you.With steel, however, comes the need to prepare the carafe before entrusting your joe to it: Metal (steel) is going to be cold, as will glass, when you fill it. However, metal is much more dense than glass and it will suck more heat (energy) from your coffee than a glass bottle, leaving you out behind the starting gate. To get around this, you can pre-heat the carafe with blazing hot water from the tap, or, as I do, boil up a batch in an electric kettle. If this sounds like a lot of work to do first thing in the morning, I admit: It is. However, you will reap the benefit, from my experience, for a minimum of 5-6 hours if you're regularly pouring yourself a cup (and swapping cool air for hot coffee in the carafe), 8+ if you're barely touching it.Those numbers work for me. They'd no doubt be 50% better if the vacuum bottle were glass, but we've covered that. The ISOSTEEL is both functional and durable. My coffee life has improved thereby.One note is that the lid is very, very well engineered: No matter how clumsily you screw it on in the morning, it ends up with the pouring trigger right where it ought to be, above the grip, where your thumb will be. This has not always been true with other carafes, which ended off-kilter and made for awkward dispensing.FOUR STARS for function and durability. FIVE is the magical realm of unbreakable glass, so if you discount the unicorn (magic glass), this is a fiver in the realm of the real world. Me, I try to live in a better neighborhood.

So far so good. Kept hot water hot for at least 6 hours so far without preheating the carafe. Larger capacity than a heavier & wider carafe this one replaced and which didn’t keep water hot as long as this one does

This was great at first. It had a lot of functions and was quiet as advertised. However, after using only twice it stopped working. I've tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in, taking it off and then back on the base, but nothing works. The blue light won't turn on and no matter how many times i press "on" or "function", nothing happens. I'm really disappointed because this was a Christmas gift and it doesn't work as advertised.

I purchased the 1.0L size. Does a great job at keeping coffee warm, especially for the price. The top is sturdy and is easily installed and removed, because it screws into the jug. It also looks attractive.

I bought this to use as a gravy server for holiday dinners. It keeps the gravy warm and works fine. I received mine with small dents in the side but I didn’t have time to return it and it doesn’t effect it’s use.

Thermos i’m doing keto so I use heavy whipping cream for my coffee and as my dairy product the heavy whipping cream fits in this perfectly keeps it cold I do like it it’s a good purchase
