Actually works. With this winter being a little warmer and rainy, ticks came out in full force. Before spraying the yard again for ticks, I wanted to test to see if this collar would be enough. Well, for 2 weeks neither of my dogs have had a tick or fleas! I’ll spray soon as well but the collars have held off ticks and fleas for the past 2 weeks and I am very pleased. It says there’s no smell, but there is. It’s a very specific smell that you get used to so no harm. No toxic exposure or seizure issues either. Highly recommend.

Ok,after reading reviews and seeing pictures, I was very hesitant about trying this product. I normally use soresto collar,and never had any issues,except for the price. I have 2 Boxers,1 is white and has sensitive skin.She never had any reaction to the Soresto,and I saw the same thing with their reviews,certain dogs have a bad reaction or skin allergy to the collar. I decided I would give this product a try. Upon opening it,it does have a very strong smell,not necessarily bad,but strong. Before putting it on my dogs,I hung it up,outside in direct sunlight for about an hour. The aroma was still present,but...no where NEAR as strong as when opened. I put the collars on both dogs and watched them VERY closely for any reaction or side effects. No reactions from either dog! No skin irritations, no vomiting, no diarrhea, and best of all,no fleas or ticks at all. Not sure about mosquitoes, but i have a lot of them in my area,and have not noticed any of the "raised welt" bite marks typically left on my dog. To sum it up,so far,this has been a great product,and a huge savings. All dogs are different, will your dog have a reaction? I wish I could tell you no. But,my sensitive ,runt,white boxer girl,and my fawn girl,did just fine with these. If you try it,do like I did and air it out for an hr,and watch the neck area close for the first few days. If you notice something different,TAKE IT OFF! If your a good dog parent, you'll know right away if it's no good for your pal. UPDATE:AUG.21 2021... My girls have now had this collar on almost all summer. We've been swimming,outside at the park,and spent 2 wks in the mountains of W.Va. I have not found a single flea or tick on either dog,and there has been absolutely no hair loss or irritation on the neck area or near the collar. Again,all dogs are different,but this has been a great product. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, but strongly suggest watching your best friend closely for the first few hrs/days. Also make sure you read the bad reviews for the soresto collars,exact same reactions,with certain dogs.

I have a 5 year old male Shih tzu who had a few fleas on him. I purchased this flea collar in hopes that this would stop an infestation before it started. The collar arrived and I bathed my little guy, used a flea comb on him and brushed him as usual. Not too many fleas came off him as I said he only had a few. I then placed the collar around his neck. I didn’t notice him scratching. I sincerely thought the bath and collar was working, boy was I wrong! Two days later he began scratching, every time I turned around the little guy was scratching, he was laying in the floor playing with his toys and he fell asleep, he rolls over and his belly has began to turn a bit red, I bend down to look at his belly and fleas just scatter! Not little tiny fleas, but the huge ones with the big “butts” that will make the popping noise. Wasn’t this flea collar supposed to keep fleas off him? And wasn’t it supposed to last for 6 months? My little guy goes outside long enough to go potty and he’s right back inside. So far I have not noticed any fleas inside my home, but with the amount on him I’d be surprised if an infestation doesn’t soon start inside as well. This collar was a waste of money. I should have gone with my gut and purchase the more expensive name brand.

My poor dog is covered in fleas. The collar hasn't been wet or anything to deactivate it. It's been 2 1/2 months and I'm having to use the second collar. Not even half of the 6 months that the first one is supposed to work. I could have payed less than a quarter of the price for this. The quality is ridiculously poor for the nearly $40 price. Update: I put the 2nd collar on my dog. It has done nothing. My poor dog! He is worse than with the first collar. I will be setting off flea bombs in my house now because the fleas are now everywhere. Not only was the price of the collars a total waste of money, but now I have to spend more money and time because of it, not to mention a trip to the vet, and the misery it's caused my dog. It's too late to even get my money back.

Doesn't really work. Helps with bathing once a week

People complain about the floral scent. Personally I like it. Dogs get so dirty & stinky so fast, the collar helps tremendously with that. Helps keep them smelling good (slight flowery scent). I left it outside for a day to help dissipate the smell some first (it is strong when first taken out of package). Then put it on. My dogs have not had a problem with it irritating them (one of my dogs definitely has sensitive skin). I have not seen any fleas or ticks and we live in the South in the country. Very pleased with these collars and will be buying again every 6 months. Can’t beat the price compared to the ridiculous cost of the brand name collars. Highly recommend these collars 👍👍

This product did not work as expected did not kill the fleas on my dog. I would not recommend this item
