Dorman 926-243 Rear Driver Side Forward Door Molding Compatible with Select Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC Models, Gloss Black

Because the dealer parts are triple the price I looked for a cost-effective OEM alternative. After researching and seeing samples on YouTube I felt Dorman was the answer. I have a 2015 Chevy Suburban that needs all 6 door pillars replaced. I had these professionally installed by an Auto Body shop but they quickly pointed out these were clearly inferior parts and did not fit well. Once I saw how poorly they fit, I replaced them with the expensive OEM dealer parts. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. I reached out to Dorman and explained the problem and they DIDN'T BACK THEIR PRODUCT, they said to return them to Amazon (which I did). So POOR PRODUCT AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Save yourself the headache.

Ordered Dorman products thinking quality. Ordered all new moldings. Adhesive they use to fasten attachments come loose from part as you gently try to fasten. Plastic tabs are a one time thing. Tried to get to stay down but part fails. We are a body shop.. all parts seem same poor adhesive

I replaced all six applique's on my Tahoe. They look good. I had issues installing two of them, as the glue "wad" on the backside and at the top of the applique was too large. I had to trim the glue to make the applique fit flat and properly. As a result of trimming the glue (which I was amazed to see melts in hot weather) the fastener moved around I could never get the fit just right. I have ordered another one and hopefully it fits like factory.

I bought multiple parts to replace my factory ones that needed replacement, 6 to be exact. The 1st one went on with easy, the 2nd one did not hold on like expected. On the top portion where the silicone glue holds, it came unglued not that long after being installed. The 3rd one came unglued in the middle of being replaced. I ordered a replacement for that one. But after noticing that one of the ones i replacement did not hold. I decided to return all.

Ordered these because it stated they would fit my 2015 Chevy Tahoe. They do not fit!!! Waste of money and of course I didn’t put them on right away and I’ve missed the return window. Don’t waste your money, use GM products.

Great looking product but glue holding tabs game apart first day after install. Already going to have to buy another one
