For the money, this is the way to go. If you have some serious tapping, It beats tapping the old way. I now find myself using these more than the conventional way. Don’t forget to use tapping oil.

I think the drill hole size is a bit too large for plastics. That is what I purchased these to do...drill and tap plastics.I should have guessed that these would have been sized for use in metals.If you look up the hole size on a drill and tap chart it will plainly give you two choices, one for plastics and the other for metals...Plastics being smaller diameter hole size.
