Q: is this 12 8pack boxes or just a larger box of crayons?

12. 8 pack boxes. I bought these for my church preschoolers thinking they would be easier for them to use, however they had a lot of difficulty getting them out of the box. Think I will go back to using the "fat" crayons in the future. These were too easy for them to break and boxes did not hold up very well. Would probably work great for older children!
